As my usual hotel in Jerez, the Tryp Hotel Centro was being changed over to a Barcelo I was in need a new place to stay and the Eurostars Tandem Solera ticked all the boxes. It's billed as a nineteenth-century manor house inspired by Jerez wines and has been sympathetically repurposed as a hotel . It's newly opened this year ( 2024) and right in the middle of everything so easy to get back to after a night on the tiles while in lovely Jerez. There is no car parking at the hotel but they have negotiated special rates at the nearby car park provided you book at least 1 hour in advance or there is nearby street parking too. Checkin is done in advance via email and once you have provided your details you are emailed your room number and access code for the building and your room - don't worry there is someone on hand during the day and in the evening until 20.00 There is a lift so you do not need to drag your bags up the stairs . My room was on the second floor and it was bright, clean and well appointed . The bed was clean and very comfortable. Most of the rooms face into an internal courtyard so they are very quiet and there is no street noise at all at night unless you have a suite facing the street. The blackout blinds were excellent as was the easy to use AC. The bathroom was compact but had everything you needed, shampoo & shower gels were provided as well as towels. The shower was super with great water pressure. There is no housekeeping so leave it as you wish to find it on your return or you can arrange for an interim clean for €35 if you are there for a longer stay - I managed fine without housekeeping staying 2 nights. The complimentary wifi worked well, there is a kitchenette complete with kettle, toaster & cooking utensils to prepare a meal or fry some eggs. The fridge was pretty big too but there was no ice box. The is a branch of Panaderia Granier around 2 minutes walk away - also other Cafeterías all doing breakfast if you did not want to cook ! I enjoyed my stay at Tandem Solera and would not hesitate to stay here again.
