La camera è molto confortevole con bagno pulito e una receptionista molto amichevole. Parcheggio sicuro davanti al locale. Perfetta posizione per coloro che si dirigeno a Kuala Tahan

Amo questo hotel. Situato nel cuore del parco nazionale! Il centro parcheggio è anche situato all'interno del resort, tutte le passeggiate della natura sono letteralmente una pietra getta via. Se si dovesse rimanere altrove, si deve attraversare il fiume. La colazione e la cena erano fantastici! La giungla cammina, il ritardo barca berkoh e il ritardo barca notturna sono assolutamente necessari! Sedile di cavallo 4pax, quindi se siete in una festa di 4 sarà il meglio altri si dovrebbe trovare altri a condividere o pagare per l'intero barco. Il traghetto fluviale al villaggio è solo Rm1 ogni volta. 1 min di viaggio e un facile da valutare, non abbiamo dovuto aspettare. A mio parere, questo è il punto di battuta per rimanere.

The room (209) was spacious as well as the bathroom. Recommended for the family as I bring along the inflatable bed and Narita for the kids. They should change the old mattress. The front desk lady was friendly.

Duży kompleks położony w świetnym otoczeniu plantacji i jungli. Duży głęboki basen i przestronne pokoje. Mógłby jedynie bardziej przyłożyć się do sprzątania pokoi i otoczenia.

Il servizio dell'hotel deve essere rafforzato, l'igiene e la sanità sono regolari, e tutti i piccoli vecchi e polverosi sono stupidi. Per quanto riguarda l'aquila, è una buona scelta se vuoi riposare una notte o se vuoi riposare, ma questo prezzo può ancora trovare un hotel più ideale di questo.

If you visit Taman Negara, there are not that many options where it comes to hotels. So try something a bit different for a change and stay at the Balai Serama guesthouse. We did, and we had the utmost pleasant surprise. First off, you won’t find it. That is why the owners pick you up as soon as you arrive in the village of Kuala Tahan. Be that by boat or by bus. For free, that is. Just call them, or ask a local. Where do you find it these days… The guesthouse consists of a sort of main building where the dining room is. The rooms are situated in a building next to that. In the middle you’ll find a beautiful garden. Ijat, the male owner, takes pride in maintaining it and that shows. In front of the premises, there is the river and jungle. Sometimes elephants pass by. You’ll hear lots of birds singing and the occasional monkey. You will also meet Marja, Ijat’s wife. She is from Holland and she will help you with everything you might possibly need. Be it a car transfer to the jetty, or to go out on an excursion. No trouble at all. The rooms are clean, with a separate bathroom, and a good working airconditioning. It is not that spacious, but large enough for a few days. Out front, there is a terrace with chairs and a small table. The beds sleep well enough for most people. Should you want to enjoy a drink, you can just approach Ijat or Marja. They have a selection of soda’s and beer (no wine) which is then charged to your room and you just pay when you leave. If you want, you can book some excursions through the guesthouse. Especially the whole day jungle tour is highly recommended. It is hard to get an experience like it anytime soon. The whole place has a really laid back atmosphere. No rush. Breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room which is entirely open on all sides. The meals are simple, but tasty and you’ll find that is is good and enough to get to to the next day. I wrote this in English as there are quite a few reviews in Dutch already. Apart from the Dutch guests, you will also find other nationalities so this will make it easier for you to read. I can recommend this place highly. We certainly had a great time and after the crowds and noise of Kuala Lumpur, it turned out to be a gem of tranquility. Basic, prima voor 1 of 2 nachten. Bed was schoon, kamer voldoende groot. Airco werkt goed en het is erg rustig. Ontbijt simpel maar prima. Er is geen bar, maar wel een klein winkeltje met water, frisdrank, biertjes, ijsjes, koekjes etc. Dit is van 10am - 10pm open. Onderhoud is achterstallig. Het hotel is 3 jaar geleden verhuisd, wat niet betekent dat alles nieuw is. Aan de kamers is met wat kleine inspanningen veel te verbeteren. Zoals het vastzetten van de wastafel, handdoekenrekjes etc. In de badkamer lekte de kranen waardoor de vloer continu nat is. Op zich weinig last van als je slippers aantrekt, maar erg prettig is het niet. Het hotel ligt op ongeveer 600m van de boot naar het hq. Prima te lopen, maar het hotel biedt ook een pickup die regelmatig op en neer gaat. In de hitte is dit erg comfortabel. Er is een heel klein zwembad. Eigenlijk is het geen zwembad te noemen maar meer een dipping-pool. Dit gaf wel blauw af. Mijn zoon heeft nog een paar dagen met blauwe vlekken rondgelopen (de zwembaden op de foto’s zijn van het oude hotel!)
