When you want a family ski vacation, Smuggs is the place to go! This was our 34th year. We started with young children, who are adults with their own children who love it as much as we did! We have met so many friends over the years who also return every year.

The rooms and views are great. Trail conditions are great with plenty of groomed trails. We love the pool and hot tub in the afternoons and the restaurants are had great food. Music on Saturday nights at the pub was great as well. We love going to Smuggs every year for all the things you can do at one place.

Skiing was amazing. Groomers rock! All around family fun experience. Great time with friends. Good food and great drinks . Will come back every year. Have been coming here for over 20 years and prefer Smuggs to any other ski resort. Why go anywhere else?

I must say this is a rare gem! I run a large vacation company and very rarely do you come across a property like this that has not been taken over by a major corporation! The family style resorts are a dying breed, you can feel it when you check-in. 3 mountains with just under 100 runs! We booked a one bedroom unit which came fully equipped with everything we needed for the trip. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil all the way to the crockpot, which was very useful. Nothing better than skiing all day and coming home to a warm bowl of chili . We will definitely be a repeat offender to Smuggs! Thumbs up to ALL the staff you made our family feel welcome!!

Stayed in the Sycamore cabins which were simply great. Shuttle bus was only a call away and very fast to bring anywhere (didn’t miss a set of first chairs). Trails were well groomed and was even better when there was a 2 inch snowfall overnight.

Best suited for families. Unit was spacious. Outstanding fireworks show for the 4th. Unit was right out of the 90s and decor/carpets have seen better days. Air conditioning wall units in bedrooms worked but left a dampness in the air. Did find out later that mid week cleaning must be requested and 24hrs in advance at that.

We had a wonderful stay in a spacious clean home with plenty of amenities. There were many activities available, but we had a great time with our 2 young children spending most of our stay at the pool, Waterpark, FunZone, and walking around. We stayed 3 nights, and I wish we had booked a longer stay so we could do more activities. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful views and lots of activities but no pool towels. You have to use the towels in your unit and wash them with laundry detergent that you have to provide. Also, if you have a large family in a large unit, you will struggle to make large meals. Not enough large pots, pans, etc. These are small issues that didn't greatly detract from the rest of our experience at Smugglers Notch.

We had a smooth check in and they did not pressure us to buy the additional $450.00 activities for each rental. As two senior citizens most of the things were geared to younger travelers. Our unit was spacious and clean. It could have benefited from new floor coverings since the carpet was stained. We were there to see the Notch and the gorgeous quaint Vermont towns and bridges. It was an hour drive to Burlington that offered museums and eateries. Local store, Hanley in Jeffersonville was a fantastic option for all sorts of supplies. The balcony was spacious and located perfectly for watching summer sunsets. We walked the Maple Trail and watched the beautiful stream, The mountains and forests were great for an escape to nature. We would rent here for another vacation.
