Charming 1940's home The location is very close to downtown. There is a handy Brookshire grocery across the street. It was like staying in the home of an older relative that had not made many changes in the home. It was comfortable, clean, and very roomy. My husband was shocked that there was not a TV. The house was very quiet with comfortable mattresses. We would have loved to see something about the history of the home. We came for the home tours and this would have been a bonus.

The house is very spacious and very well equipped, more so than most places we have stayed. We enjoyed the decor and would like to have known more about Dr. Woods and family (original owners). We would have liked to have a TV somewhere in the house and the blinds in the corner bedroom need repair or replacement. I would also suggest a little work in the back as there are uneven surfaces and we are four senior citizens. All in all , it is a very nice property with great pricing!
