The Clancy Cottage is 800 SF with a modern/open floor plan and all the amenities needed for a comfortable experience. It is located in a relaxing setting with great views of Sheep Mountain and surrounding forest. You can relax and enjoy a Montana evening on the outdoor patio which includes a grill, propane fire-pit and hot tub. The hot tub is not available for use from Nov.1-Apr.1 due to cold weather and maintenance required; however, we provide our guests with 2 adult passes to Boulder Hot Springs. Activities enjoyed in the immediate area include hiking, disc golf, mountain biking, and ATVing. The cottage is located just 2 miles from I-15 and is a quick drive to Helena where you can enjoy dining, breweries, theater, shopping and historical places of interest. The cottage was completed in the Spring of 2022 and includes a full kitchen, full bathroom, washer and dryer and an upstairs loft with a king bed and a designated work space. The renovated Ranch House is perfect as the gathering place for a romantic retreat, or home base while watching wildlife and exploring the Elkhorns. It is part of a 900 acre working cattle ranch that borders National Forest. We are about 25 minutes outside of Helena, Montana, so we are close to town, but secluded in the mountains. There is access to hiking and biking trails minutes away. The house has 2 bedrooms with double beds and a fold out sofa bed. It has a fully functioning kitchen and a smaller bathroom. There is also a covered porch to take in the mountain views and a fire pit to enjoy the stars of the Big Sky during the evening. Often during the summer, a herd of elk grazes in the hay field right out the back door. This 100 year old home has been updated and added to slowly throughout the years and has a lot of history to tell. It is great for people with a sense of adventure and don't mind the classics. Although the house is very clean, some wear and tear from being lived and worked in are inevitable. Cozy 2 bedroom house in the mountains with a central location. It is only 90 minutes away from 3 different ski resorts in the winter and 20 minutes to multiple lakes in the summer. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The king bed has its own bedroom with dedicated work space, USB lamps for easy phone charging, overhead ceiling fan. Close the door for a total blackout experience and sleep in! There are two twin beds as part of a bunk that sits in the hallway between bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. It's semi-private and semi-dark for sleeping. NOTE: These beds may be a little short for adults, and the mattresses may also be a little thin. There is a queen pullout couch in the living room. Pull the curtains for a room darkening effect. Plenty of extra linens and pillows. You'll have the entire home to yourself. We'll be available by phone or text should you need us. Open the windows for an extra cross-breeze at night, and close them up to keep in the cool air. There are only 4-8 weeks per year that Montana gets hot. These things typically keep the home cool, but we want to be very transparent with our guests that we do not have AC. CANCELLATIONS RENTER'S AGREEMENT A signed renter's agreement is required for all reservations, as well as a picture of a government-issued photo ID and a picture of your credit card used to book showing only the last 4 digits and your name. This is to prevent credit card fraud and is meant to protect you as the renter and us as hosts. DEPOSIT We require a $300 deposit for each reservation, which will be processed 3 days before your arrival. As long as there is no unexpected damage to the home, deposits are automatically refunded in full in 7 days.
