Holiday Inn Jeddah - Al Salam

Room was fantastic, clean, no issues whatsoever. Staff was excellent and accommodating. Areej at reception was excellent and understanding of needs and went above and beyond. We had some minor issues about the reservation and she took care of them without a problem.

This is an excellent value for money location in Jeddah. It's very close to downtown and is relatively organized given it's age. The staff are very attentive and pay extra care to IHG members. Finally, the breakfast is excellent with a wide variety open buffet. The gym is good with a good number of machines given the space.

I am very pleased with my time here, great hotel, great help, receiptionist Miss Areej and miss Sarah are amazing, lovely ladies, very helpfull and great attention. Mr Tara was super helpfull and made sure all my needs were answered. Thank you again team, i truly recommamd this place and will sure be back.

I booked this hotel due to it's location away from the Saudi Grand Prix, availability and price. We didn't want to get trapped in the traffic caused by the Grand Prix. I booked both rooms in my name on my IHG account, as we always do, with the intention of transferring one room to my colleagues name and IHG number, upon check-in. Even though we arrived well after the normal check-in time, we had to wait 10-15 minutes while they presumably got our rooms ready. I was given a smoking room, which of course smelled like stale smoke, even though non-smoking is in my profile. The guy that checked us in couldn't figure out how to transfer one room to my colleague, so he transferred BOTH rooms to his name. Due to that, I wasn't able to login to the Wifi because your last name is the password. I tried calling from my room phone, but it didn't work, so I had to go down to the lobby to inquire. Not that it made much difference, because the internet is so slow, you may as well not even use it. Webpages would often timeout or fail to load at all. I wasn't able to watch Netflix, YouTube or login into my email. The restaurant was closed 'due to Covid' so you could only get food through room service. This is obviously a cost cutting measure, not a preventative, because all restaurants outside the hotel were fully open. When we checked out, is when I found out that they had changed both rooms into my colleague's name. I asked the Front Desk clerk to change one back into my name, but he was unable to do so. I'm sure it's possible, but he just didn't know how. There are a lot of other choices in Jeddah, so if at all possible, choose another hotel. This one is not good.

Stained linen bathroom was not clean .Awful experience, . The poor house keeping had to change 5 duvet to find something semi clean dirty room, not cleaned properly I will not stay there again if they pay me money

Whenever I visit Jeddah I prefer to stay Holiday inn Jeddah Al Salam and the main reason is because the staff and in particular Front Office Manager Mr Majid makes our stay amazing reflect true hospitality experience

Warm welcoming the concierge Tara was helpful all the time the parking is clean but not near and needs a valet parking guy. Nice location near to king Abdulaziz university. Reception area is clean and tidy I will come back again…

The stay was not that memorable. Frankly speaking the rooms were not in a good condition. Walls were stained, floor carpets were stained, stinking smell from air conditioning duct and furniture needs upgrade. Positive thing was the support that we received from Mr. Rayan and Mr. Rayed. They were prompt in taking care of my requirements. Food quality needs improvement. I would not recommend staying at this hotel considering the overall ambience of the room and quality of food.
