Alila Fort Bishangarh

You drive through a rural village about an hour outside of Jaipur. After entering the gate you’re greeted at the open air lobby with refreshing towels and a drink. We arrived just in time for afternoon tea which is served at the lobby and next to the pool. We were given a very thorough tour which was helpful because the hotel and grounds are a bit of a maze. We really enjoyed breakfast at the 2nd floor restaurant. Afternoon tea was good and the pool was relaxing. The room we had was huge and well appointed. The golf cart ride up and down the hill between the rooms and the lobby was fun and we never had to wait too long. The one downside was that we didn’t feel well after the dinner on the rooftop restaurant on the 7th floor. Overall the stay was worth the experience once.

We recently spent 3 nights at the ALILA Fort Bishangarh. Everything about our stay was fantastic! When we arrived to check in we were greeted with a cool drink and music by local Rajasthsni musicians. The colorful costumes of the musicians added to the unique nature of the arrival process. After enjoying the view of the imposing, historical fort from below, we were whisked up to our rooms in the fort via electric golf carts. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom amenities were perfect. The views out the windows of the surrounding countryside were outstanding. Each day we found an assortment of delicious local snacks in our room when we returned. We tried all of the restaurants and enjoyed everything we had. A special treat was dinner on the roof with traditional Rajasthani cooking and musicians serenading us. We also enjoyed our breakfasts. Our waiter, Aditya, was extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu. We tried a number of Indian breakfast items based on his recommendation and that added to the authenticity of our experience. We participated in many of the experiences offered by the hotel. A camel cart ride through the village, a tiger safari, archery, cricket and a tour of the kitchen garden. All of the staff were gracious and patient with us as we tried the local activities. My wife used the spa and enjoyed a very unique oil treatment for her “third eye.” And the high tea in the afternoon was delightful- a delicious array of sweet and savory treats to accompany our tea. Staying at the Alika Fort Bishangarh was truly a unique experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the local culture while relaxing at a historic, luxurious resort.

Mr. Gorish &Mr pritam di not behave well with any staff and when they talk about bonus etc. Both of them are fooling us since last one month. They say don't talk to us talk to finance, then we call someone, everyone calls. What is the responsibility of each one, then no staff should go there

No staff should go to this hotel because they do not give any bonuses etc. and they do not even treat the staff well. Mr. Pritam, I have been messag him for 4-5 days. He is not even replying to my messages.And Mr. Gorish has been making fun of me for the last 10-15 days.

I planned and executed my wedding proposal with the help from one of the most cooperative and happening Staff of Alila Fort Bishangarh. Thanks to all of the staff members for making it one of the most memorable dining experience for me and my partner. While reaching the property I was apprehensive but after reaching the experience was amazing. From reception time to hi tea to swimming to spa to restaurant Everything was perfect. All staff was great especially dhiraj and Chandan. Food was outstanding. The roof top restaurant with live music is just beautiful. Overall wow experience
