Kenmore Bed and Breakfast

We spend a very nice stay in the Isle of Skye. The bed and breakfast is very close to Portree, very clean and tidy. The hosts Billy and Lucy were very kind to us and made us feel at home. We recommend it.

Excellent hospitality, clean and quiet room with all essential refreshments, scrumptious scottish breakfast. Kudos to William and Lucy for their kind, polite and welcoming behavior. Portree is a beautiful and calm capital town of Isle of Skye with a harbour and having fish & chips shops, bars, indian cuisine, chinese, japanese restaurants. For a day trip travellers can plan for Lealt falls, Kilt rock, Quiraing, Fairy pools.

I would give it zero stars if possible. Absolutely shockingly bad accommodations. Given how much we paid, these accommodations were absolutely not up to par. One of the other couples from our tour who also stayed in the same Kenmore B&B as us said they did not even have real pillows, but only folded up blankets inside pillowcases. There was a large live slug in our bathroom on the floor! The bathroom was shared with both the host and his wife. The towels smelled of mildew, and overall the place was not the cleanest. The hosts were surly, and did not seem to want us there in the least. Even if these accommodations had been free, they would still be unacceptable.

William was a warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable host. The B&B, just a short walk into the town center, is convenient to so many gorgeous locations around the island. The breakfast was substantial and tasty, an excellent start to a day of Touring. The facilities were quiet, clean, and cozy. I highly recommend Kenmore as a port of call for any trip to Skye!

Tolle Lage zum Zentrum, der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und gibt viele Tipps auch das Frühstück war in Ordnung Zimmer ok aber das ganze Haus bedarf einer gründlichen Reinigung und Sanierung Wenn man nicht in die Ecken schaut und rundherum geht es für eine Nacht

L'accueil était sympathique, mais dès l'entrée, l'ambiance était donnée. Couloir en désordre. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient relativement propres mais un peu trop "roots" à notre goût. Le petit déjeuner était convenable mais un "vrai" café aurait été un minimum. nous devions traverser leur cuisine (pas très ordonnée !) privée pour aller prendre le petit déjeuner. l'extérieur de la maison n'est pas plus ordonné. C'est dommage, il y aurait de quoi faire, d'autant plus que le centre est à 5 minutes à pied.
