The Inn @ Aird a' Bhasair

Went for lunch today and the food was great thank you. Lovely fish and chips with not only tartare sauce but coleslaw as well. Gemma was really lovely and helpful, couldn't have been nicer. We were really impressed with the quality of the food, thank you.

Great hotel, spotless, lovely rooms and the Chef makes excellent meals. The lady in charge and every single member of staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Bar of Hotel was lively and friendly. Wonderful views to mainland. You cannot go wrong choosing this Hotel for your Skye visit.

Lovely comfy hotel in a beautiful often missed corner is Skye, literally two minutes from the ferry. Rooms were comfortable, ours had stunning views across the sea to the mainland. Food good with a wide variety and changing specials including seafood. The venison fillet special was declared the best ever!

Arrived at the hotel from Elgol for dinner - was seated at a table - then asked our name - “oh you,re not staying here” - the waitress said - to which we replied no. The reply was “Sorry you will have to vacate the table as we are not accepting walk ins.” As a local couple we were very disappointed and not only that embarrassed given we had been seated! An absolute disgrace and I would never go back - customer service appalling!

After a long day around the Isle of Skye, we thought, given the time and the remote places we were in, we would fast. Fortunately, while we were wandering around, now resigned, we asked a very kind guy for information, who was going for a walk with his daughters. He recommended The Inn Àird to 'Bhàsair and so we stopped there for dinner. Very nice place in classic Old England style. The young and kind staff made us sit in a separate room, because the main one was already full and there were hotel guests. My husband ordered the sea trout, I ordered the mussels then the ling. Both dishes included mashed potatoes, broccoli and green beans. To finish we ordered a cheese platter including a fantastic Oak Smoked Arran cheese!! Everything delicious!! The price was average of other places we ate but the food was really well cooked. Advised!!
