I went to the restaurant with my wife, and the restaurant is very very nice! The food was delicious and the service was even better! Kelvin was ours waiter and he is the best to be honest, very professional. I definitely will go back to this place

We had an excellent stay and it is the best dive resort we have ever stayed in. The dives are very exclusive, no more than 6 divers pero boat and the crew takes care of every small detail, including the assembly of all the equipment, towels for every diver, fruit and water before / after each dive. Definitely the best personal attention we have ever received in any resort.

Absolutely beautiful grounds, with every single staff member incredibly friendly and helpful during our 3 night stay. Great restaurant and pool w/hot tub. Duna Divers was super pro valet service. We've been diving for decades and they are as good as it gets.

My wife and I recently completed a glorious week at this fabulous hotel in Roatan. They have an exceptional dive outfit at the hotel called Luna divers. Lucilla and Catalina were our guides for the week, and it was 5 star all around - we literally didn’t have to do any handling of our gear, and Joel the Boat Captain is second to none. The boats were spotless. We were treated like royalty. Delicious fresh fruit skewers after each dive, great through briefings and some of the most beautiful dive sites in the world with divers who know the secrets. Not to mention a night dive with string of pearl bioluminescence that we will dream of forever. We stayed in a suite with a plunge pool on the ground floor. It was amazingly private despite its location near the pools. The room and bedding were luxurious, with WONDERFUL pillows! The room was a little short on drawer space for two people but ample for hanging clothes. There is good tech - electronic shades that let you lie in bed and watch the day emerge, smooth room lighting, good WiFi, and nice in room amenities. Ibagari has their own water taxi that will take you to West End in 2 minutes that runs until 5 pm. But getting a night water taxi back can be uncertain, although we didn’t have any trouble. The restaurant was excellent and we typically regretted it when we went somewhere else for a meal. Great fish ceviche, shrimp tacos, buffalo chicken tenders (I know that sounds weird but they are really good!) and more. This feels like more of an adult hotel, although I am sure kids would love it. The beautiful artwork throughout adds elegance and sophistication to the feel, yet it’s a casual beach hotel with its own nice beach. The long and short is, if you are going to Roatan and want to be in the best location at the best hotel, Ibagari is an easy decision. On a final note: The sand flies in Roatan can bed vicious! Use bug repellent as soon as you get near the water. Also, get to the airport a MINIMUM of 2 1/2 hours before your flight, 3 is better. The check in and security lines will surprise you with how long they take.

The most amazing staff and hotel that the island offers! ******* made an error and the hotel here at Ibagari fixed it and I will be back and bring other customers!! You can not miss this outstanding service. Thank you Luis for all your help and staff! I adore each of you.

Without a doubt, this boutique hotel is the best in Roatan. The location near West Bay is simply stunning. The design throughout is exquisite and compares with any high-end US hotel. The rooms are divine, spacious, stylish, with huge balconies and ocean views. Service is first class - from the moment you arrive at the airport to the moment you leave. The grounds are truly breathtaking with extensive art (check out the shoe collection), water features, reflections and beautiful vistas. The pool is dreamy with its mermaid colours and toasty hot tub. Be sure to make dining reservations at Luna Muna. The food is amazing! Presentation is tops, creativity delicious and service impeccable. We ate breakfast lunch and dinner here every day (bar lunch one day) for 3 days and at every meal chose a different dish from the menu. Each was outstanding. Totally loved the soup amuse bouche and warm bread - delicious! The lobster bisque is the best I’ve ever had! Chef extraordinaire! Plus there is live music and dancing on Fridays and Saturdays. Book in advance. Honestly we headed to Roatan with an open mind and Ibagari Boutique Hotel totally blew our minds with its incredible resort. We’re already planning our return and can’t wait to go back. Our special thanks to Luis for his warm and professional welcome (even providing an electric kettle for the English girl’s tea), to Marvin for his superior attentive service and for taking the time to bring me a glass of water during my beach workout without request, so thoughtful. To Kelvin and Lazandro for their excellent attentive service, to Victoria who was pure dynamite on evening service, and to Captain Axel for taking such good care of our (free) water transfers.
