Mixed feelings about my stay. On the positive side, the massage I received was one of the best I ever had, and the Fusion restaurant was delicious food and service!
Some not-so-great experiences were as follows:
1-Check in I felt the sales pitch to book the next day meeting was a little long, all we wanted to do when we checked in after a long day of travel was go to our room.
2-My husband had a bolt (screw) in his rice from the Tres Colores restaurant. Thankfully he found it and did not bite on it. We did bring it to the kitchen staff's attention. They wanted to offer us something to make up for it, but since it was a prepaid all inclusive, we did not know what they could do.
3-Hibachi was impossible to get into. We tried all 4 days right at the time we were told to try.
4- Food service overall was pretty slow. For the resort being fully booked, it was definitely understaffed. I felt bad for the staff. Tides restaurant took 1 hr + to get food and most of the time the order was lost and they had to re submit it. When we ordered room service we were told 20-40 minutes and after 2 calls it ended up showing up almost 2 hours later.
