This is a nice hotel and the room was very spacious - we stayed in one of the rooms on the other side of the road. Bathroom amenities are a bit limited though. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! It's in a good location too.

A lovely, sea facing hotel. Wish I had spent more than a night at this place. Very relaxing setting. We got a three person duplex with a hammock and lovely balcony facing the sea. The only complaint I had was the steps leading up to the master bedroom was steep. I worried that I would trip especially if I had to come down in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel. Those with mobility issues should check where their room is located and also whether there is an elevator to the breakfast area (on the 3rd floor).

No coffee in the morning unless it’s specifically for breakfast!!! Wouldn’t stay again!!! The waiter took 2 hours to bring a coke… rooms were ok… Otherwise it’s a beautiful property in the ocean front…if you can overlook the staff and no coffee maker in the rooms it might not be a bad place to stay …

This was our hotel base for our 4-night stay while on Isabela. Our room “Mango” was on the first floor (note: there are no lifts in the property) to the rear of the hotel and had a good sized balcony with seating and a hammock and excellent views of the beach and ocean. Our room had a King-sized bed, plenty of space for clothes, there was aircon and a plug in Mosquito unit which we were advised to use. There was no safe although valuables could be left in the safe in reception. There was also no tea/coffee but filtered water was provided each day. The shower was good with a basic level of toiletries provided, there was also a hairdryer. The downside to the room is it is directly below the restaurant and it was noisy from furniture being dragged around from early in the morning and during the evening meals. The hotel itself is well situated being less than a ten minute walk in one direction to the port and in the other to the town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even when we had to leave at 5am in the morning a friendly night porter provided a coffee to wake us up.

My husband and I had a lovely 4 night stay at La Casa De Marita. We had a fantastic room with a great view of the beach/ocean that we enjoyed from our balcony complete with hammock. The breakfast was very nice and we also enjoyed the one dinner we had there - the restaurant is on the 3rd floor and has a great view. They also serve tapas/wine and drinks on their first floor patio right on the beach. Great cocktails with happy hour prices! The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is just outside of the main area of town (6-8 minute walk) and also very close to the port. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel by the beach, very clean and comfortable. All the employees were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The breaskfast was very good, and they had a happy hour to make our staying even more pleasant. We had a room with the view to the beach and it was just wonderful and relaxing. The private beach is beautiful and peaceful, close to a dock with nice views to the ocean. It is walking distance to some good restaurants. Overall, a wonderful experience, highly recommended.

La Casa de Marita seems to be in the most beautiful setting on Isabela. It is right on the beach. We had a junior ocean view room, with an upper level that looked out over the beach and the palm trees. There are tables and lounge chairs to enjoy the beach and you can listen to the sound of the waves as you fall asleep at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to get laundry done, we enjoyed the breakfast and dinners. It was close and convenient to Concha de la Perla. Such a relaxing and beautiful place!

Such a nice place to stay. The terrace and views from breakfast are like a dream, beautiful! Loved every second. Isabela has a small town, but just what you need. There are nice daytrips available departing from Isabela. The hotel was just a few minute walk from the docks and also very close to the restaurants. The cocktails were great!

Stayed here for three nights on a tour with our family. We had four over 70 year olds and little kids. The hotel appears to have been built in phases over time so the rooms are a patchwork. Pros: Plentiful outside seating facing a great beach where you can see penguins, sea lions and other wildlife. Good beach for kids to swim as well. We enjoyed the cocktail and tapas happy hour in the evening for sun downers. The owner lives across the street and greeted us on check in which was a nice touch. Cons: Many of the rooms do not offer sea views - none of ours did and the rooms were kind of like caves with minimal sunlight. They also had a ton of stairs to get to! One of our rooms had 28 narrow, curvy stairs just to access. Fine for younger folks but beware if stairs are an issue. The restaurant is a third floor walk up - again no issue for most of us but we had a couple folks with mild mobility issues and this was an issue. Restaurant service was not the best - the first night we ordered our food at 630 and it arrived at 8 PM - and it took the staff an hour to inform my husband that what he ordered was no longer available. Breakfast staff were more attentive. Food was tasty though.
