Rooms are very small but comfortable. Bathroom is small but very adequate. The room has one very small window that opens for fresh air. Hardwood floors are nice. I only have two complaints: the window sills needed to be cleaned and the corners in the bathroom could be cleaned better. Otherwise the room was clean. The breakfast was not great and no espresso. I would have paid more to get an espresso. The staff was friendly and helpful.

An unexpected illness the day before my arrival prevented me from staying. I contacted the property to request a reduced cancellation fee since I was outside the cancellation window. I was very disappointed that the property did not grant my cancellation request and charged me the entire room fee. The illness was out of my control and I felt it was in the best interest of all other guests that I cancel my stay since bathroom was shared and I did not want to spread illness. I understand that policies must be enforced but in this situation, I felt that the property should have only charged me a partial fee for the room.
