Plain & Fancy Bed & Breakfast

Cozy and cute bed and breakfast with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, breakfast delicious, room beautiful and location great. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was a shot in the dark, but I hit the bullseye. The scenery is great, the Butterfly Room is beautiful, the fireplace was perfect, the in-room jacuzzi was spectacular. The breakfast was delicious and very filling. And enough cannot be said for the family who runs everything. Go, GO, *G*O*!!!

Our host thought of everything! We stayed in the Scarlet room. The room was so clean, so well appointed. Comfy bed, fluffy towels, scented soaps and shampoos, outdoor wine tumblers and a wine key, just no detail overlooked. The host and family are so friendly, but then provide so much privacy. For example, we let them know we’d like to use the hot tub at night, within minutes soft path lighting was put out, the hot tub was ready, and we never even saw or heard them, even though the hot tub was right outside our window. Breakfast was lovely, and right on time. The host also helped us by providing utensils, plates and napkins for us to enjoy some leftovers for lunch in our room, that we had put in the fridge. I can’t think of a single thing that could be improved upon, we finished the weekend refreshed and relaxed!

This place was just as we imagined for our first B&B stay...The owners (Rachel & Steve) were extremely nice, inviting & very personable...We had some great talks in the common area... The house was clean and maintained very well for an over 100 year old house...I honestly have no complaints about the place and we will definitely be going back to Plain & Fancy for years to come...

The whole family was very kind and welcoming! I am so excited to bring my children with me next time I go! Breakfast was always incredible. Rachel gave me some amazing ideas for how to spend my time in the town.

Very nice, clean and comfortable accommodations. The owner, Rachel, was so nice and available via text anytime if we needed anything during our stay. She’s very knowledgeable of places to visit and eat while visiting the area. Highly recommend staying there.
