We stayed two nights at the Bulls Head inn, conveniently situated on the B 455 about 5 miles south of Bridgnorth. The pub has a small number of comfortable fairly small rooms which were well equipped with an en suite toilet, washbasin and shower and a comfortable double bed, with hanging and drawer space, tea and coffee facilities, a hair drier, and a TV. Our room was small but comfortable and although it faced the main road it was completely quiet in the evening looking out over rolling fields. I swam in Chelmarsh reservoir on Saturday morning (also available on Thursday evenings). I booked through Nowca. We had a good breakfast in the pub (08:30-09:30) and also had a really tasty and good value evening meal there one night too., (They have live music on Saturday evenings). The owner could not have been more friendly and helpful - and at £80/night bed and breakfast I felt it was good value. They do also have small bungalows to rent if you wanted. The Bulls Head Inn is clearly signposted along the B 455 and is a great spot to stay if you want easy access to the Severn Valley Railway.
