La Maison Corfu - Adults Only

The place is very nice but as some people said, small. No real place to put luggage. The air conditioner kicked out (stopped working) around 11 and came back on around 4 am. It was SUPER HOT! We were asleep when it quit so no one had unlocked the doors to make it shut off or anything. The room was also extremely hot when we arrived because you need both doors locked and the key card in the wall outlet for it to work. And of course at 11 pm there was no one we could ask to come help with the AC. We ended up opening the doors for some air but then ended up with tons of mosquito bites!!!! Breakfast was decent. We ‘checked out’ around 6:30 am but no one was around so we just left the key on the computer. We didn’t eat breakfast because it only starts at 8:30 which is late for people who are traveling from place to place. Anyway, we got an email asking for their 4 euro accommodation tax that we inadvertently missed paying because no one was at the reception when we checked out. I mean, it’s 4 euros and we didn’t eat the ‘free’ breakfast the second day… I feel like they could maybe just call it even. If it was like 10 euros or something, yes okay, charge us…. But 4? Not the best experience and I agree with the other poster, they really are not that friendly there. We also accidentally took plates from the breakfast Buffett bar not realizing that we were supposed to take them from the tables outside and once we got our breakfast outside someone came and rudely asked us for the plates on the table that we didn’t use.

Our stay at La Madison Corfu was truly outstanding and I can’t thank Afroditi and her entire team enough for making it so memorable. The boutique hotel is set off the main road very close to Ypsos Beach (5 min walk) and the setting is quiet and serene. The rooms all face the pool and are perfectly air conditioned with a balcony to sit and read on. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities and had a refrigerator to store extra snacks and drinks. The pool was great for laps and cooling off and the chairs and umbrellas shaded really well to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The buffet breakfast changed daily and the barista service whether iced or hot was terrific. Afroditi helped us with restaurant suggestions that were spot on and arranged a last minute airport transfer when ours canceled last minute. Thank you for a wonderful visit

We had a lovely 5 night stay at la maison. the hotel is slightly outside of Ipsos but an easy 5 min walk to the restaurants/beach etc. The room was clean and had everything we needed, the welcome drink and treat was a lovely touch. There is also plenty of room in the fridge for water etc which we needed given the heat wave... Staff were lovely and so was the breakfast. Nice buffet each morning with a wide selection to pick from. As a smaller hotel it was lovely and quiet at night and we had no problems getting a sun lounger by the pool whenever we wanted to chill out.
