The Inveraray Inn, Signature Collection

Sicuramente la posizione è bellissima, proprio di fronte al lago. Per il resto, nonostante sia un Best Western, è veramente scarso. La camera non era per niente insonorizzata, si sentiva perfettamente tutto quello che dicevano nell'altra stanza. Noi eravamo in 3 in camera, ma mancava sempre un asciugamano. La colazione, 10 sterline a testa, non li valeva: era decisamente scarsa. In quanto alla pulizia, lasciamo perdere. Ci hanno portato una teiera con 2 dita di polvere sul coperchio! Un pò meglio il ristorante. Non abbiamo mangiato male.

The Inveraray Inn is a fabulous Hotel, restaurant and bar with a distinct community feel - even if you're not a local, the staff and locals welcome you and make you feel right at home. I enjoyed a few meals and a good couple of days/nights in the bar, sampling their lovely local ale and a few drams, as well as enjoying scrumptious and filling food from the menu - including daily specials such as Langoustines. Oli and Millie were both fantastic in their enthusiasm and commitment to ensuring that my visits and experience were above and beyond. If there is one thing I would pull the Inn up on would be the somewhat commonplace aspect of their beers/gins on offer. I feel they would benefit hugely from widening the range of Scottish beers and gins that they do currently offer. Don't let this put you off going there, as I said, it is a wonderful place, with fabulous people and great food and drink - plus a pool table :)
