"Warm hospitality at Pu’er DeTing Boutique Hotel. The staff greet you warmly both upon arrival and departure. At check-in, we were upgraded to a room with a larger bathroom featuring a bathtub 🛀 and a basin for foot soaking. We enjoyed several perks during our stay: • Complimentary fruit (pears and apples in November) available at the entrance. • Free tea in both the lobby and the room; the room is stocked with Pu’er red tea, two instant coffees, and plenty of free bottled water (at least 4 bottles). • Free admission to the China Pu’er Tea Expo Garden, located 30 km south of Pu’er – just present your hotel card, saving about 50 RMB per person. • Complimentary simple dinner served from 5 PM to 9 PM on the top floor (usually breakfast area) offering a homemade Chinese noodle dish, typically in broth. • Special promotion for free laundry service (limited items, likely a seasonal offer). Clothes are cleaned, folded, and returned within about 3 hours or half a day, left hanging on the door handle of your room—very quick service. "Very nice hotel situated north of the town Pu'er. I stayed in a non-smoking freshness room which was an excellent choise. Big room with very comfortable bed and a good bathroom with great shower and warm water. Good television with all the CCTV channels. The neighberhood is nice with some great eating and drinking options. Staff is very friendly and helping you where ever they can while staying in the lovely city of Pu'er. Really great what you get for the price you pay....I really recommend this hotel!"

OOlive GohQuando ho iniziato a pianificare il nostro itinerario per la nostra vacanza di 15 giorni nello Yunnan, ho tracciato il nostro percorso per arrivare fino a Shangri-la, tornare giù a Kunming e poi a Jiaozi Snow Mountain e Dongchuan Red Land. Poi mi sono imbattuto in un video di Aini Garden e me ne sono innamorato! L'unica ragione per cui siamo venuti a Pu'er era per arrivare ad Aini. Questo è stato il primo posto che ho prenotato e ho davvero rischiato perché ha una politica di non cancellazione e ho dovuto davvero attenermi alla data una volta che è stata presa. L'esperienza iniziale prima dell'arrivo è stata tutt'altro che piacevole. Non sapevo come saremmo arrivati ​​alla tenuta e i miei messaggi WeChat sono rimasti senza risposta. L'hotel in cui abbiamo soggiornato a Pu'er ha finalmente contattato qualcuno e gli ha fatto inviare un messaggio. Ho chiesto come potevamo arrivarci e la risposta è stata un brusco ”prendi un taxi o noleggia un'auto”. Nessuna cortesia del tipo ”non vediamo l'ora di vederti” o offerta di organizzare un'auto. Quando siamo arrivati, non c'era nessuno alla reception e nessuno è uscito. Il nostro autista era così perplesso che si chiedeva se fossimo nel posto giusto e se il posto fosse aperto. Tuttavia, tieni presente che dovrai chiamare un giro in buggy o fare un'escursione di 1 km ogni volta che vuoi mangiare o raggiungere la casa principale. Se si guida da soli, non ci sono problemi, perché si può parcheggiare proprio accanto al cottage. In ogni caso, è un piccolo prezzo da pagare per una vista illimitata della Via Lattea e per l'isolamento. Questa è la cosa più vicina a un'esperienza Ryokan che si possa ottenere in Cina, senza le sorgenti termali. 3 giorni e 2 notti di vita beata e spensierata non sono abbastanza. Si assicurano di nutrirti bene, con i prodotti più freschi disponibili per la cena hotpot e piatti fatti in casa dello Yunnan per pranzo. Ci sono così tante attività organizzate, dal portarti in montagna per vedere l'alba (con le capre di montagna per compagnia ❤️) al tour didattico delle piantagioni di caffè, all'equitazione lungo le creste delle montagne (la vista è spettacolare!) alla ricerca di verdure e frutta selvatiche, al bere, ballare e cantare intorno al fuoco! Così tanto da fare, così poco tempo! Un aspetto di miglioramento che personalmente vorrei vedere è il servizio del caffè. Tendono a essere piuttosto snob su come viene preso il loro caffè. Ordinato, senza nient'altro. Chiedere zucchero o latte sembra quasi disprezzato. Il caffè è una bevanda versatile e può essere gustato in un'enorme varietà di modi. In quale altro modo Starbucks ha così tanto successo? Mi sono sentito un po' soffocato e privato perché adoro un buon caffellatte e non vedevo l'ora di godermi un'infinita dose di caffè durante il nostro soggiorno. In ogni caso, adoro gli sforzi ecoturistici qui. Sembrano naturali e senza pretese. Amo le persone e il cameratismo che coltivano. Mi è piaciuto particolarmente parlare con la loro consulente 敬梅, una bellissima donna con una vasta conoscenza della cultura dello Yunnan e del progresso ecologico. To start, the room was incredibly clean, new, spacious, and most importantly comfortable, the bed was comfortable and clean when I got there. On top of this, the amenities within the room are amazing, AI assisted curtain and light activation, strong and fast AC system. The bathroom was huge and had individual rooms for the shower and toilet. The shower area had everything needed and was very spacious. Tons of kits for shaving, vanity, and all that you would need for a hotel stay. Even more, there was an air purifier and majiang table. If you order delivery there is a robot that sends the food to your room. Staff were very friendly and dependable, gifts were given during leaving, there was also a free breakfast and bridge crossing rice noodle kit that you could order anytime, very tasty! Lastly, and also very important for travelers, the location is superb, being situated close to the city center and only a 15 minute drive from the train station and opposite side of town. Very convenient!! The area is also quiet and relatively clean.

But i stayed a 2nd night because the room was spacious and the view out of the window was so restful. About the room, I like it that there is a desk i could work from. And that the shower and WC areas are divided by a screen. For the 2nd day, my room was refreshed with used toiletries replenished and towels changed. I wish the guesthouse would implement a system where guests are able to indicate if they wish to use the same towels. I am pro-environment, so if i don't change my towels everyday at home, i don't see the need to do so when i am away. I also like the location as it was easy for me to catch Bus Route 3 to a nearby shopping area (i had KFC breakfast there), cross the road to take Bus Route 8 to Meizi Lake Park. I spent about 3 hours there, including enjoying coffee and cake in the cafe near the entrance to the park. (My biggest regard was i did not get to drink even 1 cup of Pu'er tea while in Pu'er :)) After that I back tracked on Bus Route 8 to change to Bus Route 3 to visit the Tea Horse Ancient City. Then after, I took Bus Route 3 to the shopping centre, had dinner and shopped at Walmart, before catching Bus Route 3 back to the guesthouse. There is a walking/running track just across the road from the guesthouse. Forget about going the full length of the track. Once you see a slope on the right side, walk up there. You will get a nice viewpoint and there is a nice cafe there. If the weather is right, you get to see sunrise too! I went in the morning, the cafe was closed, so did not patronise the place. Had I known about this cafe, i would have gone there on the 1st day. Perhaps the guesthouse operator could do up a map with information of easily assessible places of interest. This could result in longer stays for free and easy travellers. Pu'er is a well planned town/city. I like it and will recommend others to spend some time there. Most importantly, do stay at this guesthouse. The surrounding tea plantations will recharge you!
