"After arriving at the property, I realised it was worth having a lake view room, so I upgraded to the Double Bed with Lake View and bathtub. The room is huge and the view of the lake from the windows is spectacular. It was amazing to just sit by the window and enjoy the view and the breeze. In the morning I watched the sunrise through the window. The hotel has excellent service. The two young men at reception were very kind, helpful and gentlemanly. They insisted on carrying my small bag up to the third floor and happily resolved all my queries. The cleanliness was not bad, but there were a few strands of hair around the room. Otherwise it was clean. There were lots of amenities, the bed was extremely comfortable and the rain shower was perfect. Downstairs, you could step directly onto the lake, and the property has two very cute cats. The Lake View Double Room came with an in room afterboon tea (very much needed after the long journey to reach Lugu Lake) and a healthy Chinese style breafast. All up, an extremely comfortable stay and one of the highlights of my trip to China."

"We are a family of 3 with a 13 year old teen. We were greeted by the nice lake view at the lobby of the hotel. This hotel is definitely a little gem by the lake. The Ming Shu put a lot of thoughts into the amenities, including masks, little snacks and humidifier. Our room comes with a balcony with a lake view. My booking came with afternoon tea, we can have our afternoon tea at the comfort of our balcony. 直玛管家 already tried to get connected with me a few days before our trip. She has been very friendly, helpful and responsive through WeChat throughout our whole stay. When it is time for night time dessert and morning breakfast, when she doesn’t see us at the lobby cafe, she will drop us a WeChat message to remind us. The hotel provide photography services too. Our package comes with 5 free digital photos. Our family went for 30 to 45 mins photo shoots with 啊川 from 我是青禾摄影. The photo are very nicely taken and ended up, we took a package for the digital copies of all the photos. My teen girl was happy with her individual shots too. In summary, we are very glad that we had booked this hotel. We wished that our stay was longer. We highly recommend this to anyone including those with kids. This is a very romantic place."
