Once your at the parking lot a hike down what locals refer to as "cardiac hill" provides fishing access to the heart of the renowned Meramec River Red Ribbon Trout Fishing area, this is a gated conservation road leading to the Meramec river and is about 1/2 mile long hill, going down is a breeze coming up takes some cardio!
