"Although somebody may prefer higher-order accommodation, this hotel is very very great for me and my family. Located just in front of JR Shiretoko Shari Station, it can be very convenient for me and my family to catch a train to somewhere else. The other excellence of the hotel is that there is a convenience store just across the zebra line. The hotel staff, from front desk receptionist to housekeepers, they all tried their best to answer my questions and make up my room. The price of the hotel is quite reasonable. I stayed there for consecutively 8 nights, I found that the price if very very reasonable."

"Absolutely loved everything about this place! I stayed overnight with my friend and her family. Yuta (owner's son) and his mother went above and beyond to give us spectacular experience! Food was top quality, facility was extremely clean, Onsen water was so silky, delicious Gelato and good opportunity to try varieties of Japanese alcohol. "Our third consecutive stay in Japan’s onsen scene brought us to Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort. Though labelled as a 3-star hotel, this resort is the very definition of an underrated masterpiece. From the moment we arrived, it became clear this experience would rival any five-star destination we’ve ever visited. Our room was a slice of paradise—spacious, serene, and offering a panoramic view of the breathtaking sea. Perfect for a moment of calm after a day of exploring. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the window, with its infinite horizon stretching beyond the blue waters. The bath experience was equally indulgent, with Dyson and Refa hairdryers in the public bath area. The soap and shampoo provided in the public baths? Luxurious, premium products that they also retail on-site. A small but significant touch that elevates this from your average onsen. Where do I even begin with the buffet? It was nothing short of culinary theatre. Imagine live cooking stations serving up dishes with the flair of a fine dining restaurant. From sashimi so fresh, it redefined how I think about lean tuna—the texture was almost reminiscent of beef!—to the incredibly generous portions of salmon roe. Each dish was top-tier, but the dessert station truly took my breath away. A unique pumpkin and sweet potato creation was the surprise highlight, and I couldn’t help but indulge in multiple helpings of the organic apple, crisp and fresh like it was picked that very morning. For fitness enthusiasts, there’s even a decent gym—a rarity for many onsen hotels. Meanwhile, the 24-hour lounge provides a range of delectable snacks, all of which are sold in their store. And though the prices may seem steep, the taste makes them worth every yen. The free daily scoop of Peter Beier ice cream was simply divine. Made with Hokkaido milk, the vanilla was already a showstopper, but the pistachio took the experience to another level. After this, it was impossible not to purchase their chocolate truffles—pricey, but easily worth the splurge. The experience extends outside the hotel, where an outdoor foot bath awaits with a view that will make you feel like you’ve entered another world. As long as the weather cooperates, this is an experience not to be missed. In short, Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort might officially be a 3-star, but in our hearts, it’s a five-star experience through and through. A perfect blend of luxury, nature, and comfort, it’s an onsen resort that deserves to be on every discerning traveller’s radar."

"Fantastic Onsen hotel..located on the hill top, all rooms assigned overlooking into the OKHOTSK SEA, with huge room and shower room are separated from the WC. The hotel provide a shuttle bus from UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL and will pick up guests from here. Another good point is,there is a Airport Bus Liner which comes direct to the hotel to pick guestyfor drop off at Shiretoko Shari Bus terminal enroute to Mambabetsu Airport. The breakfast is really yummy with lots of spread however the buffet dinner is average and the same spread for the two nites I stayed. Where else the ONSEN, I would give a 4/5. Another good point to note is those coming by train to Shiretoko Shari station, opposite is the Shari Bus terminal which provides transer to the UTORO ONSEN BUS TERMINAL.in about 50 mins. Overall Shireto Daiichi Hotel is a big luxurious hotel and they provide shuttle for onwards bus transfer to the SHIRETOKO NATURE PARK which is so beautiful to wander out to seek nature's awesomeness."

"We love the ambience and everything about the hotel! Furnishing are very carefully and intentionally designed, really appreciated the overall cozyness we felt during our stay. Sadly we had to give the bathhouse a miss due to our schedule, but we enjoyed our stay regardless. The only confusion we had was the check in/check out timing — the hotel page says check out is 11am, but we got a phone call at 10am telling us we’ve exceeded the check out timing. Page also mentions check in by 6pm, but we were only able to arrive at 9pm+ due to our flight and car rental processes, hence we checked in multiple times with the hotel. They were kind enough to assure us to drive safely as we can check in any time."

"酒店在半山上，很安靜很大的一個酒店，晚上可以看海上落日，離巴士站1公里多，大概需要20分鐘步行，吃飯就不是很方便了，可以選擇購買酒店餐飲或者去山下，酒店有個特產店。酒店房間很大，鋪的是很厚的地毯踩起來很舒服，然後還有一個很大的温泉池，開放時間也很長，下午3點到第二天9點，如果人多不好意思去，可以等半夜去，哈哈，酒店的浴衣也挺好看的，一件天藍色的，外面還有件短褂。然後酒店門口就有一個去女滿別機場的大巴上車點，很方便。"
