Hotel in zona Chemist Warehouse, Indooroopilly

We were not aware of the late check in procedures but thankfully the staff (Dana) reached out and sorted it out for us, otherwise we might have been locked out! The hotel,building and room looks clean and new. Although it's located right above Taringa train station, we did not hear any sounds from the trains at all during our stay. Covered parking is available for a fee or there is usually street parking. If you are checking in, there is a loading zone next to the hotel. As the hotel is on a steep slope, might be worthwhile parking as near you can to unload. Although there is no housekeeping services for short stays, the front desk are helpful with any requests always. Overall, a great affordable find for a new-ish hotel and minutes away from the CBD, UQ and westfield indooroopilly.

Loc Super convenient location on the corner of Jephson St and Sherwood Rd, with the popular Toowong Village Shopping Centre, a 10 minute walk away. The Toowong railway station can be accessed directly from the shopping centre. There are plenty of buses trundling up and down Sherwood Rd heading in various directions to the city or to the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre further south. The nearest ferry terminal is Regatta, less than a km away, but at the time of writing it is still under repair following last year's floods. Room We found the room to be clean, comfortable and spacious, with a large king bed, two bedside tables, each with a drawer and a lamp, a TV on the wall, and a handy desk for working at. On the balcony, was a small table and two chairs. There were plenty of power points to charge appliances and the downlights were strong enough for easy reading. The stylish touch lamp on the desk and standing lamp in the corner were useful for extra illumination. There was a hanging rail with about eight hangers. There were two sets of two drawers, one underneath the hanging rail and the safe, with one larger set underneath the TV. They were reasonably sized, but being virtually on the floor, they were super inconvenient to access. I can’t understand why the designers didn’t think of this, because it’s extra difficult to get down so low, especially if you’re a bit older, or with knee problems. Also in the room was a safe but that too required bending down. On top of the safe and below the hanging rail was a shelf to store one suitcase. The tea and coffee making facilities were also very difficult to access as they were rammed into a little shelf snuck between the drawers and the desk-top. The room though was quiet, being at the back of the property and therefore not facing directly onto either Jephson Street or Sherwood Rd, both busy roads. One could hear some noise from within the hotel as people walked up and down the corridor, but it was a minor inconvenience and most fellow guests seemed friendly and well behaved. There wasn’t much of a view, and the room just looked out onto the sprawling next door apartment complex, and to the right between the trees we could see Jephson Street, and the traffic going up and down, but the sound didn’t carry into the bedroom if the balcony door was kept closed. Bathroom The bathroom was not an en-suite, being situated in the passageway, between the front door and the bed. That was just as well, as it had a sliding door, which is never great for privacy, although it could be locked. But the bathroom was modern and stylish, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. A transparent glass wall separated the bathroom from the bedroom, which shocked me when I first saw it. I immediately phoned the reception to tell them that we needed another room due to the lack of bathroom privacy. Very helpful, clean and friendly. The only concern I had was the fire escape plan. We were on the ground floor and the outdoor area was surrounded by aluminium lattice work which was welded shut. The only way out was back through the one way hallway to the exit doors. If there was a fire you would have to climb 2m over the lattice to get out. When I asked about it they said it's a brick building so you don't have to really worry about fire....😬

「ナイトライフを楽しみたい人必見！！」 格安にも関わらず、フォーティチュードバリーに徒歩で行け、夜のオーストラリアが存分に楽しめます！ ルーフトップではベンチやバーベキューできるスペースがあり、オーストラリアの街並みを見ながら日光浴をして読書しているひとがいて、平和な雰囲気でした！ 市内までも近く、歩いて20分ほど、レンタルスクーターを使うと10分で着きます！ ベッドが大きく快適、窓が大きく開放感があります。タオルもたくさんあり、清潔、テレビ、コンロ、食洗機も洗濯機も乾燥機も全て管理してあり、何日でも泊まれます。ベランダの机と椅子もあり、外で食事もでき、窓を閉め切ればベランダで喫煙もできました。

Inizialmente abbiamo prenotato il Novotel per un premio per la camera da letto che paga $319 per includere colazione. Questo è stato prenotato in modo errato a causa di un po' di sbaglio nel loro sistema di prenotazione - il che significa che non potevo rimanere lì al momento che volevo e mi è stato dato un credito da usare in un altro momento. Abbiamo usato questo credito ieri sera e quando ci siamo reclutati, ci è stato detto che potevamo parcheggiare a piedi. Non menzionare il costo. Abbiamo andato in camera e quando abbiamo fatto la doccia alle 11:30 - il nostro doccia era bloccato e non sarebbe stato drenato. Abbiamo dovuto chiamare il desk e a mezzanotte abbiamo quasi dovuto cambiare le stanze per fare la doccia. È venuto mattina per avere il nostro colazione a buffet che abbiamo pagato - e ci siamo detto che non eravamo sulla lista e non potevamo avere colazione senza pagare di nuovo. Off alla ricezione e sottolineare che non solo abbiamo già pagato per la colazione nella nostra prenotazione originale, ma ha sottolineato che abbiamo pagato $319 per la nostra stanza e proprio ora sul sito si può pagare $310 per la stessa stanza GIURIDICO incluso colazione. Teresa, il manager, era estremamente soccorsi e ci ha detto che non c'era niente da fare. Dobbiamo solo aspettare di parlare con la squadra di prenotazione in un'ora. Abbiamo deciso di andare a controllare e andare. Non c'è ancora niente di parcheggio e ancora quando vado fuori dal parcheggio mi è stato chiesto di pagare $25 per convalidare il parcheggio! È assolutamente inaccettabile servizio. Avremmo dovuto fare colazione subito, perché QUANDO CHE si veda si può chiaramente pagare un tasso che corrisponde al colazione e non è IL CUORO che Novotel ha perso la pista e non ha prenotato la sala di follow-up correttamente. Viaggio per lavoro più volte al mese e non consiglierei mai più un Novotel per uso personale o commerciale.

Have stayed here a number of times over the last 10 years. Some apartments are ok. Others not so. They clearly have individual owners. Apartment 607 looks to have not been renovated for 30 years and It raises many questions. Why is the light fitting missing from the lounge area? To show off the incandescent bulb? What artwork once adorned the second bedroom wall which now displays a number of holes. Was there a TV in the main bedroom where there are now holes in the wall? Why is there no compendium? Why has the leaking shower fitting not been replaced in the main bathroom? Why is there only a 3 seater lounge chair in a double bedroom apartment that accommodates four people? The management are good and gave us this room because we didn’t want to be too close to the noisy main road. Maybe we should have just bought some earplugs. They came to fix the tv that didn’t work on the first day because of a loose plug, extension lead or power board. Second day we had to completely power it off then on again to get it going. While some apartments are probably fine, the dedicated underground parking space seems to be the main attraction here.

I cannot fault this accomodation! From the friendly welcome and service to the above and beyond service I received after leaving an expensive phone charger/cord behind. The manager ‘Jack’ went out of his way to ‘find’ and ‘organise’ a pick-up for me that I am so grateful for. To find that the wonderful cleaners had taken it to the office was so honest that I would like to say ‘thank you’. The very clean and large Family Studio we had was perfect. Plenty of free parking and a no-fuss check- out. We didn’t have any trouble with noise from either the road or other apartments. Free wi-fi. We weren’t far from the City centre or Southbank. Easy to Uber. Will definitely be coming back. A+

We enjoy staying at the Oasis Apartments because of their quality, price, and proximity to family, shops and public and transport. This was our fourth stay. However I wish to draw attention to a few minor problems. Firstly, the wifi was unreliable and intermittent, dropping out or being hard to access from time to time. This is an issue I've highlighted to building management a number of times, which they've acknowledged needed to be addressed. By contrast, the wifi at the Gold Coast apartments we stayed in just prior to Oasis was perfect. Secondly, the toilet in unit 50 was not working properly - it was filling and flushing only intermittently. As this was obviously a health and hygeine issue, we informed management about. To his credit the building manager (Bo) moved us to another apartment imediately. This was inconvenient, taking a few hours, but the alternative was worse. Oddly, when he checked the toilet, it appeared to be working. I hope the toilet was checked by a plumber before unit 50 was let again. Notwithstanding that, we would recommend Oasis to others, subject to fixing the wifi and the toilet issue in unit 50.

Piccole camere nel centro città molto vicino alla stazione di Roma Street, ideali per viaggiatori in treno e visitatori a breve termine. Non va bene per le famiglie. Buoni ristoranti e caffè nelle vicinanze con il CBD una breve passeggiata in discesa. Molte camere dispongono di piccoli balconi per l'aria fresca.
