Virrey Finca Hotel

Hotel has a lot of character, rooms are large, spacious, and very clean. Also with a cute terraces / balconies. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bonus: Pleasant smell throughout the entire hotel. The only negative detail - water in the pool could be a little cleaner.

For our stay on Mallorca we chose the “Virrey Finca Hotel”, especially for its strategic location for us personally, as we like to do a lot of trips by car on the island. Our choice turned out very well, a very nice location, it is very calm and serene, you indeed wake up with the singing of the birds. We had opted for a room with a terrace on the first floor. The staff is super friendly, the restaurant is second to none, and the breakfast buffet is one to say "you" to, in and word fantastic! We can do nothing else than warmly recommend this location to people who like to visit and enjoy peace and quiet. The hotel is located in the town of Inca, on the Island of Majorca, it is an establishment with history, an old property with seventeen rooms, including suites and doubles, which still maintains the charm of its origins. This majestic estate allows the visitor to discover first-hand the charms of the island. It is a stately mansion from the 17th century in which you will find spectacular rooms, with the charm of noble and traditional feudalism of other times, perennial guardian of the Serra de Tramuntana with an area of 1,000,000 m².

Starting with the good things, friendly staff during check in, free parking, the room was clean and nice (except for the shower which had zero pressure and the empty minibar without any water at all) and the aircon worked pretty well. Bed was huge and really comfortable. Breakfast was nice on the terrace, decent choice.
Now for the rest… We only discovered the day before our booking that the restaurant would be closed for dinner the night of our stay as they had an event (and only discovered it because I contacted them to check if we needed a reservation for the dinner!). This hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and one of its main attractions is supposed to be the restaurant. Anyway, we arrived there and found out that the event was a wedding, which took place between 6ish pm and midnight and it was very noisy! They had microphones, music, etc, and all under our windows. To be fair, they moved somewhere else exactly at midnight, but as a family with small children this was not what we wanted or were expecting based on the hotel website.
Next morning we decided to go for a swim in the pool before checking out, but the pool had poo on it. At that point no one had closed the pool yet even though it was supposed to be open and available. There were also cigarette butts on the grass around, obviously from the wedding party that hadn’t been cleaned.
I was expecting the staff at checkout to ask how our stay had been but I suspect they knew the answer wouldn’t be nice, as they were already apologising to the person checking out in front of me.
All in all a waste of our money and had I known about the wedding in advance, I would have cancelled my booking and found something else.

The Finca hotel by itself is beautifully historical, with 2 salons and a small spa. The rooms are nice, simple and rather small. We could not open 2 suitcases at the same time and half of the closet was blocked by a chair. The bathroom on the other hand was spacious. The pool side was OK, the sunchairs are very uncomfortable and also the choice of music was horrible and not suitable to what the property has to offer. I also recommend having dinner there at least once, the food was amazing.

We were there with our team for our offsite. The finca is such a beautiful place! We loved the location very much! The Team was really AMAZING, special thanks to Lydia from the reservation, Roberto from the F&B who served us all the time with great drinks and food, chef Luco who cooked for us the best Marroquín food and also for the great service from Maria and Sandra from the Reception! I'm sure it wasn't the last time we were there! Thanks again for everything, we had a such great time in Finca Virrey!

Un sitio espectacular, pequeño y familiar perfecto para relajarse ,el personal muy atento y amable en todo momento!! Hemos estado en la habitación del torreón, increíble con una cama impresionante ,muy nuevo y muuy limpio !! Hemos pasado unos días muy especiales!! Gracias.
