Liongate House

We stayed for one night while visiting friends. Lionsgate House is everything you want from a B&B. Friendly hosts, really comfortable bed in a lovely clean room with en-suite. Lovely full English breakfast in the morning and parking. Highly recommend

Liz and Graeme were very friendly and welcoming hosts. Our room and en-suite were spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Tea, coffee and delicious chocolate brownies were brought to our room soon after our arrival. There was a guest fridge which contained fresh milk to go alongside the well-stocked amenity tray provided in the bedroom. There was a great selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts for breakfast and the full English was cooked to order. Fresh bread and a choice of homemade preserves completed a meal to set us up for the day. We enjoyed chatting with Liz and Graeme and hope to be able to return one day. Don't hesitate to book this b&b - the reviews and ratings are high for a reason!

Another lovely stay at this most charming B&B. Warmly welcomed by Liz and Graeme with tea and brownies. The rooms are spotless, bathrooms large with fluffy towels and very nice toiletries. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. Looking forward to a return visit next April

We had a one night stop over whilst travelling to Cornwall. Wonderful hosts Liz & Graeme made us very welcome. Our room was perfect in every way. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We were sad that we were only staying one night. A definite longer stay is in the planning for the summer. Cannot wait to return.

Liz and Graham made our stay at their B&B most relaxing and enjoyable. The rooms are spotless and are of a high standard as was the lovely breakfast consisting of home made bread and home produced jams. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Highly recommended . Liz and Graeme were excellent hosts.the hotel is very conveniently located for exploring Somerset by car. We booked the family room for myself, my partner and my mother. It was very comfortable and I regret not taking the time for a bath in the huge bathtub. The breakfasts were the best I have had. We will definitely return should we pass through Ilchester again.
