Hotel in zona Kiosco Bea, Dipartimento di Iguazú

Excelente hotel, esta rodeado de mucho verde, idel para relajar. La piscina grande, al pie de un bar / restaurant Ideal para ir en familia. Su personal es super amable y atentos a todas las necesidades. El desayuno impecable, mucha variedad y calidad. El restaurant por la necha con una carta muy variada y comida super rica y lo mas importante, los precios super accesibles. Sin dudar volvería.

Booked for a one night budget stay on the Argentina side of Iguazu falls. The hotel worked for what we needed. Some information which would have been helpful when we decided to book this hotel. It is not close to the center of Porto Iguazu. You can eat at the hotel restaurant, but if you want to eat at one of the many restaurants in the city center, you would need a taxi or walk about 3 km. Many of the guests seemed to be staying at the hotel for the pool – which was nice. Quite a few families. The employees at the reception were helpful and pleasant. The room was very old, run down and basic, but clean. There was no hot water, internet almost non-existent but the air conditioning worked great.

Excelente todo, toda la gente que allí trabaja desde recepción, minimercado, restaurantes, gente de limpieza y mantenimiento súper amables y predispuestos en todo momento. El predio una maravilla, el mantenimiento del parque la piscina, la limpieza hermoso. Ideal para familias con chicos tbn! Cancha de fútbol a juegos..y súper seguro. Algunos detalles para tener en cuenta, señal de wi fi en habitaciones, frigobar q puede descongelarse y ducha que cae el agua afuera por la mampara corta, solo detalles el resto impecable! Excellent hotel right in middle of jungle like area 30 minutes from airport 30 minutes from the park 10 minutes from Brazil border Pleasant staff including the travel desk lady who at no extra fee booked all our park entry tickets plus we used their recommended for trips locally- reasonable & only marginally higher than outside service Note - unlike Buenos Aires - Uber is poor service here Breakfast is good Rooms are of good standard Would stay again

Il Saint George Hotel Iguazu tariffe ben al di sotto della categoria ”dump”, rispetto allo stato 4-star. Dovresti stare lontano da questo posto. Evitare a tutti i costi. Detali di seguito: 1) Infrastruttura: le loro camere sono così vecchie e antiquate che la maggior parte degli ostelli giovani sarebbe essere più carino e più invitante di loro. Il loro mobili è estremamente vecchio. AC è LOUD. La qualità complessiva è disastrosa. Tutto è terribilemente patchato. L'isolamento acustico non esiste, e sarete completamente immersi nella vostra esperienza di vacanza dei vicini, anche se tutto ciò che fanno è guardare la TV a un volume molto ragionevole. Alcuni punti sembrano anche molli. Ultimamente, ma non meno importante, il tappeto nelle aree comuni è vecchio, riccio e incredibilmente sporco. 2) Le loro politiche incredibilmente assurde: la mentalità dell'hotel sembra essere ”come possiamo rendere l'esperienza dei nostri ospiti una cattiva, provare più duro”. Esempi: non permetteranno l'ingresso precoce anche se hanno capacità, Solo tenere il bagaglio. ”L'accesso alla stanza non è concesso fino alle 2:00” è la risposta standard. O al check-in, scrivono le informazioni sulla carta di credito. In realtà, catturano (tipo-down) tutte le informazioni sulla carta ”come garanzia” e vi assicurano che sia ”molto sicuro” (diritto ...), invece di bloccare un deposito temporaneo come fanno le piu' civilizzate del mondo. In realtà, lo segnaleremo alla Booking come è inconcepito. 3) Colazione: la loro stanza di frantumazione è molto piccola rispetto alla dimensione dell'hotel. Quindi mentre il servizio è disponibile 7-10 o così, è necessario scegliere una delle quattro rotazioni 40-min (o 50, non ricordo certo). Ciò significa che, invece di solo raffreddare la mattina durante le vostre vacanze e andare spontaneamente a fare la frattura quando si sente come, è necessario pianificare attentamente quando si sveglia e doccia, in modo da non perdere la finestra. In tutto, una esperienza molto povera. Un hotel che non appartiene, per nessuna immaginazione, a una destinazione turistica di classe mondiale come Iguazu.

L'hotel è molto vecchio e chiaramente non è stato ristrutturato in un po'. Il personale del ristorante è super utile e amichevole, purtroppo il personale della reception non è. Rudolo e non flessibile. Arrivammo tre ore prima di accedere e capimmo che solo se una stanza fosse disponibile, la riceveremmo. La ricevitrice ha detto che avrebbe seguito, ma non lo era. Abbiamo dovuto venire più volte alla ricezione per controllare e non potevano nemmeno sapere se la stanza era pronta perché la custodia non avrebbe raccolto il telefono. Questo hotel non è chiaramente un hotel a cinque stelle, principalmente a causa dell'atteggiamento e della mancanza di aiuto e servizio da parte del loro receptionista Facundo.

La struttura sorge a pochi passi dal ”centro” di Iguazù, trattasi di un hotel grande e moderno, in netto contrasto con il panorama circostante. Massima pulizia sia nelle zone comuni che nella camera, quest'ultima molto spaziosa e ben arredata. Bellissime le grandi vetrate che permettono una vista meravigliosa sulla vegetazione circostante e sul fiume Iguazu. Molto bella anche la piscina sul tetto con vista aperta sul Brasile e sul fiume Iguazu. Buonissima la colazione, varia sia nel dolce che nel salato. Al primo piano è presente un Mate Bar che permette di degustare a bassissimo prezzo la famosa bevanda argentina, praticamente introvabile in qualsiasi altro bar in quanto gli argentini lo preparano a casa e non lo comprano nei bar. L'hotel offre anche un servizio di transfer da e per l'aeroporto, effettuato da personale esterno all'hotel, ad un prezzo direi più che onesto (controvalore di circa 10 euro a novembre 2022). Unica pecca l'accoglienza un pò algida della reception che potrebbe essere migliorata. Hotel comunque vivamente consigliato

When I review a place it generally means that I had an issue. This hotel is fine for the price but there were several things that wrecked the experience for us. 1-the pool water was green so we couldn’t use it. Lack of chemical maintenance would be my guess. 2-air conditioner had no controls. It was either on or off. We inquired and they said it was the way it is. 3-room 307 has no wifi. Again we inquired and the answer was that’s the way it is in Iguazú. Finally we spoke with a different front desk person who said the WIFI is better on floor 1 so we moved and guess what, the wifi is fine on floor one. Our new room also has batteries in the air conditioning unit so we can control the temperature. Aside from a small amount of black mold growing on the shower caulk, the room is fine. The showers both have a shiny tile floor. Very slippery but they do have a hand hold in the shower. Well, I guess we are in the jungle after all. We were happy to be on the first floor so we wouldn’t have to ride the elevator anymore. The elevator stopped either right on the floor or several inches above or below so rider beware and watch your step! 4-our biggest frustration was with transportation. There are a couple of guys that sit in the lobby and represent a tourist firm of some sorts. They speak or understand no English. If you a Spanish speaker, you may have no problems but we sure did. We were abandoned in Brazil at the water falls there by our driver. We had to be very resourceful to even get back to our hotel. We had no cell service there and although there was wifi at the Falls, it was in operable due to the high traffic. Remember we are in the jungle. We had 2 other issues with transportation solely due to the “tourist company” not really being a company at all. I still don’t know their connection to the hotel but I highly recommend not using these people if you want reliable transportation. 5-the last issue occurred a few minutes ago . We asked for a late check out a couple of days ago and were granted one till 2:00 PM as we were then leaving for the airport. At 11:00 they showed up at our door telling us we had to leave or pay 23.00 late check out. My heart started pumping which can be bad for an old timer and I went directly to the manager. Told him we were granted a late check out by the front desk guy who spoke English. He insisted that we needed to pay the 23.00. I refused to do so and we “discussed “ all of the problems we have had. He was un phased until I said I was going to write a bad review on Trip advisor. Suddenly he said we could stay at no charge till 2. There is also some good to this review.. with the exception of the black mold, the rooms were quite clean. The breakfast was very good and as advertised. The hotel is in a good location. Forgot to say the tv stations are only in Spanish which is what we expect here in Argentina. My advise…if you don’t speak Spanish enough to get by, perhaps try another hotel.
