It was a terrible experience with this resort. First of all it is not a well maintained resort. Mosquitos and insects are everywhere. Secondly they cheated us. I booked for two Jacuzzi villas and instead they provided me with ordinary non AC rooms. The location is also far away from Thekkady and is a kind of scam.

Chef Sanal, Anjana and team was excellent at their hospitality ,Food is tasty,Good ambience , Hygiene and clean services,Very polite staff.Wveeything was well arranged , Good maintenance of property, All well planned and Over all good experience

Great location, beautiful surrounding a**osphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The property was wonderful, even during the summer due to surrounding plantations you can feel cool breeze. All the staff was very friendly and co-operative. Food and taste was exceptional. To be specific, chef sanal, ***odarshan, mithun, anjana, Mahesh, shia, anil PRO, sanish front office all these staffs are very friendly, helping & co-operative. I would recommend carmelia as an wonderful property during all seasons and I am looking forward to visit the same place during winter season.

Fantastic place surrounded by nature. Beautiful views all around, and the service is top notch. But I would say the highlight is their food! Chef Sanal and his team can delight you with some amazing Kerala cuisine. Will visit again for the food alone!!

Best for couples little difficult for families with small kids infants lot of walking as the property is huge .. It’s a good resort with warm welcoming staff and services .. The jacuzzi villa which we stayed was beautiful and cozy but the only problem is the jacuzzi is cold water not hot …In this monsoon weather this is the only problem we faced but the ***ager totally cooperated with us and helped us make the stay better …..
