I recently stayed at the Sprise Munnar Resort and had a truly delightful experience. Nestled in a superb location, the resort offers picturesque views of lush greenery and rolling hills that instantly soothe the soul. If you’re seeking a peaceful and quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be. The resort is new and was built two years ago. The swimming pool is not very big but has a special area for young swimmers. The spacious, calm grounds of the resort make it feel like a hidden paradise. Whether strolling through the well-maintained gardens or relaxing on the balcony, the tranquility here is unmatched. The staff deserves special praise polite, attentive, and always willing to help. They went above and beyond to arrange a taxi for my sightseeing adventures and even ensured a smooth transfer to my next hotel. The restaurant served delicious meals with a great variety of local and Indian dishes. That said, the breakfast could use a little more diversity to cater to Western tastes. Still, the flavors were on point overall. For the price , this resort is a steal. You get excellent value for the serene ambiance, spacious accommodations, and top-notch service. Munnar is known as “Kashmir of South India” and the “Switzerland of India”. If you’re planning a trip to Munnar and want a relaxing stay surrounded by natural beauty, I highly recommend Sprise Munnar Resort.

Excellent location. Staff very friendly and always going the extra mile to satisfy the guests. Special shout out to Tapash and Salyjis for making our anniversary stay extra special. Food is excellent in the restaurant especially the breakfast. Will definitely be back soon.

Well appointed rooms. Comfortable beds and lovely en suite. Stunning views. Restaurant meals and breakfast were very good. Menu was not large and several items not available. Excellent hotel for a short restful break. You will need a car as the hotel is very remote. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Grounds and swimming pool are well cared for.

Everything was beautiful and new but they still have a few kinks to work out. Our door lock wasn't working correctly so we could only lock it from inside and had to leave it slightly open whenever we left the suite. Water took a very long time to heat up in washroom, and TATA play services on TV cut off after first day of stay because they weren't renewed. WiFi was on inconsistently in our rooms and internet service was better outside on the grounds than in the rooms when it WAS working. The restaurant was sadly lacking, both the complimentary breakfast and dinner ordered from room service were not executed well, and would appreciate some signage in the breakfast room indicating that there is a hand wash available (didn't even spot it until 2nd day and no one told us) and not to put the bread toaster to level 5 because it scorches the bread (it happened on three separate occasions in the 2 breakfasts I attended). However, the staff are extremely courteous and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay despite these hiccups and only hope the little things improve with time and training. The landscaping and grounds and spectacular.

Great resort to have break with family, good service and new facilities. We spend three night and family and enjoy the place in the middle of the forest and the mountains. Recommend very well to couple. Overall Room is clean and with big space

Really lovely staff at Sprise Munnar. We had a few problems on the first day but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are great, with the interconnecting living room perfect for a family stay. Good size rooms with a nice view. Breakfast is buffet style and lots to choose from, plus they make omelettes to order. The spa lady was fantastic, had an amazing night of sleep after my massage. Rangaraj at reception was really helpful in all aspects, making sure we were okay and that things ran smoothly. And Saly who oversaw housekeeping was so sweet and courteous. Overall, I'd recommend Sprise as a nice base for exploring Munnar.

We ( my parents and I) stayed in the resort for 3 days and loved the experience. The location is obviously very beautiful, but the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, comfortable and at home. There were many small things that won our hearts. It was raining on one of the days and we needed to go to the restaurant. The resort does have umbrellas but all were in use. Alina quickly sent us her personal umbrella. The reception staff somehow managed to arrange a bathroom bath stool for my parents to use. The gardener noticed my mother observing one of the many plants keenly and when we were checking out, he gave her a sapling to take back with us. Many thanks to all of you for making our stay comfortable, memorable and special. Shout out to Alina, Thomas, Karthik and the gardener and the manager, Viju. Keep up the good work.

Very pleasant experience by sprise munnar resort and spa. The view and ambience are beautiful. I will definitely come with my family. Specially mentioned about their great service and cleanliness of rooms.
