Hotel Rural Can Jaume & Villas

It is entirely possible, then, that other people have had a less successful experience at Can Jaume. On the other hand, if this were the case, I would be very surprised. Can Jaume is a small haven, just far enough off any proper roads to be perfectly peaceful, but close enough to those roads to make the journey time very swift to anywhere on the Island. It is 10-15 minutes from the airport, so we tend to take a taxi and have a hire car (organised by the hotel) delivered the next day. We have been coming (on and off) since 2008, gradually moving up in the type of rooms that they offer, and now using the private villas. The peace hasn't altered, but the quality of the hotel has increased quite markedly. I am not sure what happened during the various lock downs, but part of the extensive fruit orchards has been used to place 9 individual villas, each with a jacuzzi on the roof. The only criticism that I would make of the villas is that they don't actually have any proper kitchen facilities. There is a drinks fridge, with plenty of room for your own wine. There is a Nespresso machine. There is a bar surface, but if you want to 'self cater' at all, you will need to borrow the plates and cutlery from main building, and you have no options for cooking at all. That said, the room service food (from the kitchen at Can Arabi) is stunningly good, with no additional 'room service' charge on top of the price. With that one reservation out of the way, I can get on with the praise. The bed is huge and very very comfortable. The bathroom separates the bedroom from the living area and is split into two. One side has the toilet and bidet in their own cubicle, and a wash area with basin, mirror etc. The other side has a massive monsoon shower, and another wash area with basin, mirror and hair drier alongside. Far too many allegedly 4 and 5 star hotels don't actually have a mirror near a socket for the hairdryer. If you are in a villa at Can Jaume, you can leave your hair drier at home. The living area has a sofa which can be turned into a further double bed. I doubt that 2 couples would actually feel that the villa is large enough for 4 people but last year, when my snoring was at its worst, I slept on the sofa bed some nights and it is surprisingly good. There is a large terrace, with table and chairs and sun loungers. Up the outside stairs is the roof terrace, with the jacuzzi. Bliss. Of course, you may prefer one of the studio suites or rooms in the main hotel. It has been along time since we used them, and it would be safest if I leave any updated comments to others- save that we wouldn't be coming back if we hadn't thought them all wonderful. Gorgeous little oasis outside Ibiza town. Excellent food, service and big sized rooms only complaint was that the hotel restaurant is closed for dinner/ there is no bar otherwise an amazing stay.

Me and my partner stayed at Can Jaume for 3 night across Easter weekend. We were blown away by the service and the grounds of the complex! A hidden oasis just on the outskirts of Ibiza town. We arrived late on our first night but Shanine on reception was fantastic and showed us around and to our room, she even ordered us pizzas as all the local restaurants were closed! The room was tastefully decorated and had a huge terrace which was great for sunbathing during the day. We also loved the breakfast selection and the fact that it was served until 12:00PM, as we enjoyed not having to get up early. I would definitely recommend renting a car if you are looking to stay here as it would be quite difficult to get to using public transport and expensive to keep using taxis constantly, but there is free parking onsite. One small inconvenience we found was that the walls were quite thin and we could here quite a lot of what was going on in the room next door (although these people could have just been extremely loud!). Overall we loved it and will definitely be back.

This hotel was lovely. A calm, relaxed oasis on the outer rim of Ibiza old town. It was exactly what i needed, calmness, relaxation, beautiful finishes, delicious food and lovely warm helpful staff. Is a great place to return to after exploring the island, town or partying all night - with amazing energy throughout the property. The staff were very helpful on a problem I had and throughout my stay, accomodating my requests, providing advice on recommendations and helping with taxis. The breakfast was amazing and the pancakes & scrambled eggs available upon request were some of the BEST I've ever had. The room was huge and spacious, with great bathroom. Poolside is relaxing and Dale was very nice in making cocktails & having a chat. Only criticism is that most taxi drivers hadn't heard of it and couldnt find it- doesnt show on google maps properly - they need to fix this. I went to their sister propety Can Arabia a 5 min walk next door, for dinner. Had the most amazing fillet mignon I've eaten in a long time, and chatted with the staff. Would definitely recommend, very sad to leave (actually wish i stayed here instead of moving into town) and will definitely stay again when i return to ibiza!

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans la villa No6 et garderont un souvenir mémorable de notre séjour. Spacieuse et lumineuse, décorée avec goût, propre,nous nous sommes immédiatement senti à l’aise. L’idée géniale c’est la séparation en 2 de la salle de bain qui augmente encore le confort de la villa. Grande terrasse, jacuzzi sur le toit ( dont nous n’avons pas eu l’utilité) et ménage toujours parfait et très discret. Le petit déjeuner est parfait avec bcp de produits frais, de jus frais et de préparation minutes. Un vrai régal. Bravo de laisser en libre choix le surplus du petit déjeuner en journée afin d’éviter tout gaspillage. La piscine est très agréable et le truck pour les encas est une vraie bonne idée et la cuisine y est savoureuse pour des prix totalement raisonnables le tout les pieds dans le sable. Tout le personnel fut souriant et l’accueil à la réception fort sympathique. Petite note pour les voyageurs, la villa n’est pas individuelle mais jumelée et on entend parfois un peu les voisins. En résumé, l’hôtel nous a bcp plus dans son ensemble et nous ne pouvons que vous le conseiller les yeux fermés. Nous reviendrons très certainement. Merci infiniment pour tout, nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine.
