The historic Edwardian mansion house offers elegant rooms, each with a flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, a seating area, and tea and coffee making facilities. The food was overpriced and awful! £20 for a salad with a ***** of halloumi . The children’s food was disgusting. Why should children be offered chicken nuggets. Animal/environment disaster . With a small portion of fries, pot of over cooked peas and carrots and a small mango sorbet for £15. The safari was uneventful…upside all the staff were nice and helpful.

We took a chance with a late booking for a special occasion and it was worth it. Everything was spot on. We have visited before but never stayed and we cannot wait to do it again.

Something for everyone. Food is lovely but picnic advisable if your cutting costs. Animals seem very well looked after. All staff actually seem happy to be there which always makes for a wonderful stay anywhere. Really want to come back, now I know where things are. Will be bringing family. Xx thanks for great memories

We had a wonderful family overnight stay, amazing to be able to access the park outside visiting hours, magical for all ages. Staff were brilliant answering questions too.

We had the most wonderful stay from the moment we arrived at Howletts on the Saturday. It’s great you get access to both parks. We stayed at bear lodge on the Saturday evening and check in at bear lodge was very fast and the staff were very friendly. Food was good at bear lodge and the playground and fire pit to cook marshmallows made it really special! The accommodation itself was very clean and the bathroom was huge with a great shower and beds were comfy. The views from outside the tent were spectacular and we loved sitting on the decking and going out regularly to look for the spectacle bears (which we got to see lots of times!). A special mention to Lucian who also went above and beyond for us when helping us when we went for an explore of the park in the evening. All the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again in the future.

We had an amazing stay in one of the cabins in Leopards Creek, however, we felt that the room could do with a proper deep clean and noticed that some of the borders were dusty/dirty. The shower area was also looking a little tired with grouting in need of a clean, along with some issues with drainage and water pooling and flooding into the main bathroom area.

We had a fantastic day at Port Lympne. We saw some amazing animals in habitats that were as close as they could be to their natural ones, and the rewilding project is inspiring. The bears, wolves, big cats and baboons were particular highlights. We fed the baboons which was a great experience. The service and food in the Garden Room was brilliant and we also really enjoyed Babydolls restaurant. We went to Howlett’s as well and it was lovely to see the animals there, especially the elephants. We really enjoyed our accommodation and had a tent right next to the squirrel monkeys. It was lovely to be able to watch them whenever we were at our accommodation. Overall we had a brilliant stay.
