Hôtel 4 étoiles Le Lodge des Îles d'Or

My husband and I spent three nights at this Hotel. The Hotel itself is a lot smaller than we imagined and there is no view. All rooms face towards the centre of the hôtel and overlook the pool and restaurant which can be extremely noisy. You can see guests on their balconies and there is no privacy as the rooms and balconies are so close together. There are a lot of trees and therefore mosquitoes and the trees hang above the balconies making it very dark and you can not enjoy your balcony due to the mosquitoes. The main issues we had is the location of this Hotel. It is sandwiched between a Mobile Home campsite and a huge construction site of holiday apartments. The road to the beach from the Hotel is just beside the construction site and is very dirty. The beach itself was a huge disappointment. It looked very unclean and generally run down. The noise from the construction site is enormous and starts very early in the morning. We had to go out and spend the whole day out of the Hotel due to the noise. Another noise issue were the several young families who were there during our stay. This is not an ideal Hotel for children as it is so small and nothing for them to do. The rooms are small and not particularly clean and would really need a coat of paint. Breakfast was basic and the staff didn’t really care about the guests. It was a self service buffet and when we realized there was no water my husband asked for mineral water and they gave him tap water. You had to pay for water in a 4 Star Hotel! I have never seen this in a 4 Star Hotel before. We never had dinner here as we were so disappointed by the quality of food and choice at breakfast. The Staff in general looked very unhappy and there was a terrible atmosphere. This Hotel was a huge disappointment and we couldn’t wait to leave. It is far too expensive for what it is.

We sadly only had a one night stay here, we wished we could have stayed longer. Absolutely beautiful hotel nestled in a garden oasis, our ground floor room was very private. Check in was smooth and easy. Rooms are generous in size and the decor is wonderful and unique. The heated pool was wonderful even in the rain. Breakfast was fantastic, fantastic selection with fresh local fruit. The staff and owners made our stay memorable. We will be back. A little slice of heaven, book it.

We only stayed one night in the Lodge and wished we could have stayed longer. Cleverly and sensitively designed. Fabulous room which was on the ground floor and v quiet. Food was excellent too. Dinner was v creative and tasty with lots of local fish and vegetables. The staff and management were very pleasant and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.

Un petit coin de Paradis au calme et dans un décor sauvage et apaisant. Une piscine chauffée à 28 degrés. Une chambre parfaitement et joliment décorée. Un petit déjeuner délicieux dans un très joli restaurant intimiste. Un accès direct à la plage. Du personnel très accueillant et souriant. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cet endroit où nous retournerons.

Deuxième séjour au lodge et à nouveau une magnifique expérience. Les chambres sont très confortables, décorées avec goût, très au calme avec vue sur la piscine dans une atmosphère très zen. L'accueil y est chaleureux, de belles personnes au service du restaurant, attentionnées et bienveillantes. Un barmaid génial d'une grande gentillesse qui met son coeur à concocter ses cocktails signature à découvrir absolument !

Il s’agissait de notre premier séjour à la presque île de Giens. Notre choix s’est porté sur le Lodge, qui recueillait d’excellents commentaires sur TripAdvisor. Durant notre séjour de 4 nuits, nous avons pu apprécier la qualité des infrastructures, la très belle chambre, qui semble avoir déposée délicatement dans un arbre. Vu le calme, la végétation, il ressort de cet établissement l’impression d’être dans un havre de paix, disposant d’une très belle piscine et d’un accès facilité à la plage voisine. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était aussi de qualité, le pain particulièrement bon. Un mot encore sur la qualité de l’accueil, le personnel est très accueillant, très souriant et a fait énormément pour la réussite de notre séjour. Mention particulière à l’excellente Melissa, efficace, souriante et à l’humour au top. Nous remercions également les autres collaborateurs, dont une femme au petit déjeuner, hyper sympa et professionnelle, ainsi que les deux Julien(s) aussi efficaces que très agréables. Au final, nous vous recommandons avec grand plaisir ce très bel hôtel pour vos séjours dans cette très belle région.
