Katriya Hotel and Tower

In spite of reading lots of bad reviews about this hotel, I took the risk of booking and staying here, looking at the photos and location. It is a good location, but the cleanliness was bad, the room had a very bad smell, it was like suffocating. The reception staffs were very slow and they were not able to communicate a simplest requirement. If anyone wants to take risk like me and want to stay here, then it is up to you. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

PROS: Breakfast. CONS: Everything else. LOCATION: A few minutes from main road. REVIEW: Stayed Nov-2024 for 2 nights in Premium room with breakfast on 6th floor. It looks like a 4-5 star hotel as you arrive, doorman taking luggage from taxi to reception. Huge beautiful reception with 3 counters for different services and a travel desk nearby. Then the horrors begin. 15 minutes to fill out foreigner forms to check-in. The 2 working lifts extremely slow in travelling, the 3rd lift was out of order for our stay. The 6th floor corridor smelt and looked like it had water damage. Room smelt musty on entering, left the fan on for a while to disperse the smell. A lot of the woodwork and in the bathroom looked mouldy from water damage. Safety deposit box was locked. Asked reception 2 times, 1st time they said they will send someone, then they finally admitted that all safes in the hotel were locked. Didn’t use the mini fridge as when the fridge door was opened a blast of super-hot air hit you from inside the fridge. Wifi not working in room after 1 hour on the first day. Reported to reception who said there were problems. No wifi for 2 days except in the reception area. No plastic bottles of water but 2 glass bottles with resealable caps containing water. Not sure where the water originated from so did not drink it. 2nd day the key-card required reprogramming after lunch time. 2nd day room was not cleaned in the morning when we were out. It was cleaned after 15:10pm. After returning we then noticed no towels in room at 20:25pm. We telephoned reception, housekeeping and duty manager but no reply. We saw and asked the housekeeper and reception but still no towels. Returned at 21:55pm and still no towels. Warm towels (from dryer I suspect) finally delivered at 22:15pm. Final day there was no running water at all in the morning. Reported it to reception at breakfast and it was fixed when we returned from breakfast. Swimming pool was not in use and under maintenance. Internet reviews show it has been like this for months. The biggest problem is the customer service. All the staff didn’t care and answers to questions were “5 minutes please” and nothing happened. Breakfast was good, a wide selection of Indian and continental foods.

It was an amazinIt was a great experience staying at Katriya Hotel & Towers . It is a budget hotel and for my fellow travelers, I request to take rooms in the newly renovated floor. Not on the old one. That's it. The rooms with wooden floors are great(THE EXECUTIVE ROOMS). The receptionists are friendly and nice, especially Mamta. She is a gem for the hotel. Amazing experience that I will not forget.g

he builder is clearly a visionary — the property is impressively designed and well constructed. However, it suffers greatly from poor maintenance. During the hot season, the air conditioning was non-functional, the lighting was inadequate, and the room service was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, these issues made my stay quite miserable. Such a well-built property deserves far better upkeep and service.

Hotel is good and big halls for business meeting .hotel staff was good specially Sai Kiran Reddy we had a great time here . My stay at katriya hotel was fantastic from start to finish . Where as bit disappointed with room cleanliness. Else everything was on point.

Sincere thanks to Mr. Surya for being a part for making the event wonderful. Food was very tasty and the chicken was served with drink was awesome. The whole event was handeld very professionally and the services of the supporting staff was very good. Hall was very spacious and help to manage our DEMO item very well. Keep it us very happy EOD.
