Ocean Street Inn on Hyannis Harbor

Great location. 5 min walk to ferry to Nantucket and less than 15 mins walk to restaurants and shopping. Shower was the only thing I wasn’t a fan. The staff is amazing and very helpful.

Great location. Front desk was friendly. Motel is run down, room had strong mildew smell, bathroom was not clean, pool has not been functional for months. No onsite staff apparently. Check-in is nearby at another property. Not sure what the $40 resort fee included-

Although there appears to be some recent upgrades, this is an older hotel. Our windows did not lock, which for women travelers made us feel very unsafe. The outside lights did not turn off and shown through all night. It is noisy with other visitors above and around us. Also the shower, although clean needed major updates.

We find the location, room size very easy to get luggage into room (ground level👍 And we commute so often need a budget friendly place

No hot water. This is just an OK hotel in a good location if you want to be in downtown Hyannis, it’s a short drive to the melody tent and the conference center. Easily walkable. The room is old. However, the bed was very comfortable. The biggest problem was that we did not have hot water on the last day and I had to be at a conference at 8 AM so had to take cold shower. My husband complained went to the front desk which is down the street, and we had called too. We weren’t the only ones without hot water. It was not fixed until late morning and we checked out. The front desk told us that we would be getting a rebate or credit of some sort. That didn’t happen, I called left my number because the manager was busy. We of course, never were called back or credited anything. Thus I would not stay at this hotel ever again. I don’t need much in a hotel, just a comfortable bed, which I got in hot water which I didn’t get. I don’t think it is out of the realm of reasonability to expect some sort of credit because of that inconvenience.

Misguided False . Hidden fees of 40 And 50. This whole trip wasn't so good. It's run down paint chipping , wallpapwr was chipped off and can see the wall all dellapitates and unsafe deck that when you step out it is all rotted. Door the key doesn't work at time. This is the last time I will come here for sure. . so the main reason I am writing this bad review is our plans. We paid 184.00 which included the resort fee.when we got here they wanted another 40 dollars and didn't get explained to me. It's another 50 for holding in case something happens. Besides the fact that room has ants .
