Was put in the wrong room - waited a long time to put it right with staff arguing in front of me so I felt embarrassed
On the upside hotel is in a lovely location although wouldn’t class it as an executive room which I booked but the staff at breakfast were absolutely lovely

Beautiful view over the lake, quaint décor, and friendly staff! At night, the skies are clear and mist build-up on the lake makes the environment extremely atmospheric and nicely eerie!

We were advised breakfast was 7-9.30. We went to breakfast early on Saturday morning as we were on a tight schedule and needed to leave the property by 8.15. We arrived at breakfast at 7.15, expecting to be out by 7.45, unfortunately we were still waiting for the breakfast to be served by 7.30, when we enquired were the hot food was we were told it wasn’t put out until 8am. Had we been informed of this earlier we could have made different plans for breakfast. It was brought out at 7.40, some of it was cold and due to rushing the food, we didn’t enjoy it. Better communication would be preferred to people staying there.

Run down hotel, not the cleanest, insects in shower each morning, strange rules on not bringing food in.
