Completely furnished with most of the comforts of home, we rent by the night, the week, or the month from March 1 thru December 1 (weather permitting). Summer is our prime time and tends to fill far in advance. Before and after summer, rates are a little lower. Weekend rates are slightly higher than weekday rates due to demand. Cabin 3 has a queen bed in one bedroom and a double bed in the other bedroom. Each bed has pillows, a blanket and bedspread. There are convenience stores nearby as well as a full-service Walmart within 10 minutes. Raystown Lake is a popular waterway in south central Pennsylvania. The 29 mile long lake and surrounding area are owned in large part by the federal government with several state-owned parks and forests close by. It is a wonderful area to spend a family vacation with great hiking, hunting, boating, swimming, fishing, and bird watching. Other popular attractions include caverns, railroading, horse-back riding, lake cruises, boat rentals just to mention a few. For golfers, Huntingdon Country Club offers a public golf course about 4 miles north of us. Volunteers have recently created the Allegrippis Trail which is popular with biking enthusiasts. Fishing tournaments frequent the area. During your stay, you may be blessed to see a bear swimming across the lake or a bald eagle returning to its nest.
