與眾不同的美好酒店體驗！這是個有幾十畝地草坪個和樹林的約500年歷史的小古堡酒店，熱情的服務人員和城堡主人。房間安靜整潔舒適備品法國原產。早餐不錯，本地水果好吃。城堡裏都是古蹟裝飾品，濃重的歷史感。大門平時緊閉，也不同於一般的酒店，到店前需要跟酒店郵件電話提前聯繫，拿到大門進門密碼，按密碼後大門自動打開，比較有意思。

Castello molto bello e pieno di storia, spazi comuni splendidi, nostra suite bella e con vista sul fiume. Proprietario gentilissimo, ci ha fatto una visita guidata il giorno del nostro arrivo, estremamente interessante. Colazione ottima. Anche i consigli sui posti dove cenare sono stati perfetti.

Abbiamo girato il mondo, ma questo è stato il nostro primo soggiorno in un vero castello (ancorché il più piccolo della Loira). Esperienza suggestiva, arricchita dalla passione del proprietario Gael, che offre anche una meravigliosa visita guidata capace di trasportarvi nella storia della Francia. Chapeau!

Abbiamo soggiornato con una coppia di amici a metà agosto. Erano le prime due notti di una vacanza on the road in Francia. Il posto è magnifico. È stato molto rilassante e ci ha aiutati a staccare da tutto. Andare in bicicletta fino a Chambord, fare passeggiate a piedi nel parco della tenuta, fare colazione nelle sale del castello, osservare le stelle cadenti dal giardino, fare un bagno nella piscina e partecipare al tour guidato del castello! I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili. Consigliato se si vuole provare la vita di chateaux!

Affascinante chateau nel mezzo dei più bei castelli della loira. I proprietari ti accolgono con i racconti e gli aneddoti storici, ti trasmettono la passione del posto.. Piscina magnifica immersa nel verde. Ottima colazione . Che dire... assolutamente da provare.

Grotteaux is for the seasoned traveler who appreciates a small boutique hotel experience with all the amenities of comfort, elegance, privacy, history and personal engagement from the proprietors. My wife and I were hesitant to leave after feeling at home and relaxed in this gorgeous chateau. The owners Gael and Cecile put their hearts and savings in restoring this gem which should be on the top of your lists for choices of where to stay in the Loire Valley. It was at one time an important library and you can feel the centuries of time that has past in the walls and decor. We plan to return next year for sure and would consider any season. There are only a few rooms so plan early.

Amazing stay in a fantastic ambiance and surroundings. The small chateaux is a fantastic place, beautifully restored and loaded with family history from Gael and Cecile. We had the room in the annex which is big and comfy and the bathroom is massive- a true salle de bain. The estate is in immaculate condition due to the passion and hard-work of Gael and his daily tour of the place is a must-do. Very helpful in guiding the area, making reservations etc. All in all we had a fantastic time

Probably the best part of our 3 week trip throughout France in 2023. Gaël and Cécile along with their team were the most gracious & accommodating anyone could be. With this being the first time the Loire Valley, we did a lot of exploring in the beautiful countryside. That being said, I'd go back in a heart beat and spend much more time to relax at the chateau itself. Highly, highly recommend and plan to return in the future.

Magical stay at a fabulous chateau in beautiful grounds. The team were amazing, incredibly welcoming and helpful and we even had a tour of the chateau with information about the history of the area. Great breakfast. Lovely comfortable drawing room with log burner and the bedroom was beautiful.
