Upon coming back from the mountains, the staff served us hot tea and our luggage was in the room. Service was terrific! Heaters were working very well and there was an extra standalone heater so I placed it next to my bed too. The old street has many eateries, try the claypot rice along the main street next to the bubble tea and snack shops (turn left to the main street when exiting the hotel then turn right along the main street). Snacks are affordable too. Highly recommend this place to others!

Hotel is renovated from a old hui style conserved building and is strategically located of. An alley from the old street. You may contact the hotel when you are the main street for them to trolley in your luaggage. All staff are friendly and warm. Check in is a breeze. Only cons are abt the hotel is hot water stream which takes a while and unstable. Next, you will be disturb if ur room is next hotel entrance as there will be traffic and noise as early as 6am. Hotel room is big and bed is very comfy. If you are traveling to visit mt huang, and hong cun or xidi, would suggest to stay over at tangkou . Tunxi street can be at the last few days before proceeding to ur next destination.

The hotel front desk personnel were very friendly and kind. The hotel was centrally located on Tunxi Ancient Street and was easy to find. The express bus to the high speed train station (Huangshan North station) is across the street from the hotel and costs 5 rmb and takes about 40 minutes, so very convenient. The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. For this price, it’s a very good deal.

The hotel has a service to pick up guests from the train station. Driver Song was professional in his communication and arrived on time. He was easy to communicate with using translation apps. He drove us safely to the hotel where they met us with umbrellas to escort us down the small alleyway that led to the hotel. It is in a beautiful heritage building renovated. The concierge service is exceptional. They gave us restaurant recommendations, tips and weather forecast via WeChat message. We chose our breakfast and it was served to us on time and it was very yummy. They even gave us a room upgrade to a room that had a bathtub. This was very kind and a lovely present for my birthday.
