WINCLOUD Beihai,Huangshan

Wincloud is a top tier hotel located on the backside of Huangshan Mountain (closest cable car is Yongu- walking is still required). The property is beautifully appointed with thoughtful elements. Rooms have heated towel racks, strong hair dryer, foot massaging units- perfect after a long day of walking. The breakfast buffet has a good assortment of Chinese and some western food items. The staff is welcoming and friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting Jason who helped made our stay extra comfortable. His English language skills made it easier for us to navigate on and off the property throughout our stay. On WeChat, we had Cheng Lei provide excellent guidance on visiting the mountain sites. Other hotel staff were also very hospitable- like the bar tender who was exceptional in making drinks, the housekeeping staff who were friendly, the doorman who walked over to activate the automatic doors when we entered or exited the hotel. We had a great stay. Thank you to the exceptional staff at Wincloud!

The hotel is just renovated and it looks amazing. You really have to be in ‘good health’ to get to the hotel from the cable cars (or walking the stairs). It was a unique experience to stay in the hotel and watch the sunrise and sunset. The rooms were brand new with everything you need. There even were jackets against the cold! And a light for the dark pathways ;) I would definitely stay here again if I’m visiting Huangshan again! Also I wanna thank Jason in particular. He was the guy that made a great coffee (flatwhite), helped me with my bookings and all my other 100 questions! So thank you Jason!

We had a fantastic stay at the Wincloud Beihai Hotel. The hotel is a beautifully renovated and modern space, 20 minutes walk from the Yungu cableway. 小程 was the perfect host and provided excellent and timely tips for enjoying our stay, including recommended hiking routes and where to watch sunrise and sunset. Breakfast and dinner buffet had many great options to fuel our hikes 💪While the room was small, it was very comfortable and had excellent features and amenities, such as large shower, heated floors, and warm jackets for our sunrise hike.

What a surprise ! When you take the cable and walk along the hiking trails, reaching such a luxurious place was really strange and felt unreal ! The hotel is brand new (there are still some work done to complete the hotel, but it wasn’t a nuisance at all). The room was little bit small and I wished the window was bigger, but overall it was very comfortable with modern amenities. It was spotless. The food was , here too, surprisingly good and varied. The breakfast and dinner buffet were very decent, especially when all the supplies reach the hotel through the incredible efforts of these amazing porters we see all around the scenic area. The staff was lovely, may be a bit unprofessional at times (the hotel opened recently and I guess all these young persons are still learning the ropes), but their smiles and enthusiasm were highly infectious. Overall ; a fantastic place to stay, out of this world. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

Our recent stay at Wincloud Beihai was superb. Our room and all public areas were clean and well-maintained. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the staff. They were all friendly and professional, but I especially want to recognize Cheng Lei who was so helpful, warm, and attentive. They made our stay stress-free with their proactive assistance and genuine care. Thank you to the entire team!
