We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!
The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains!
He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out.
We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

UUtente ospiteHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

Un ringraziamento speciale a Xiao Huang, che con la sua professionalità e gentilezza ha reso il mio soggiorno ancora più piacevole, facendomi sentire davvero coccolato.
L’hotel è magnifico, situato in una posizione straordinaria che permette di godere al meglio della bellezza mozzafiato delle Montagne Gialle. Camere confortevoli, ottimi servizi e un’atmosfera rilassante completano un’esperienza che consiglio senza esitazione. Consigliatissimo!

The shower temperature was difficult to adjust and ended up hot all the time. When we came back late, no one answered the entrance and we were stuck waiting. In the positive side, the staff does appear trying their best to meet our needs.

LLydiascapesIl mio soggiorno a Tingquan Xiaoyuan è stato assolutamente piacevole.
Ho prenotato un lungo soggiorno qui come ritiro e pausa dal lavoro e questo è esattamente tutto quello che ho bisogno di rilassare e ricarichere.
La casa di ospiti, che è stata guidata da un team di marito e moglie, è così ospite e va a un chilometro di distanza per assicurarsi che il mio soggiorno qui sia rilassante e ho tutto quello che ho bisogno di lavorare e andare in giro per il mio giorno.
La camera che sto vivendo è molto luminosa con un desk per me per lavorare. Devo dire che anche il letto è molto comodo e ho dormito bene ogni notte.
L'ambiente è così tranquillo e tranquillo, con giardini e fiori e piccoli piccoli monti a distanza. Sono piuttosto felice di rimanere qui nella valle invece che vicino al centro.
In termini di servizio, il capo è molto utile e risponde ai miei messaggi quando dobbiamo chiedere qualsiasi domanda o richiedere un ritiro dopo i passi. La signora capo è molto amichevole, calda e gentile, e assicura che i miei bisogni e il mio benessere siano tenuti a cura ogni giorno.
Apprezzo davvero che vadano oltre il miglio per aiutare un straniero come me che combatte con la lingua.
Raccomanderò con forza questa bella e accogliente casa a chiunque sia locale o straniero che cerca una visita sorprendente a Huangshan per qualche giorno o fino a un mese. Vi garantiranno che vi prendete cura bene e il vostro soggiorno è assolutamente piacevole.

Quando sono tornato, il servizio in camera mi ha aiutato a pulire. Era molto pulito, con tappetini igienici usa e getta, coperture per la vasca, ecc. Li abbiamo tutti e forniscono anche quattro bottiglie di acqua minerale. Poiché sono andato a scalare il monte Huangshan, ho portato con me alcune bottiglie, ma quando sono arrivato indietro ho scoperto di averne aggiunto di più. È stato davvero premuroso! Hanno anche aggiornato la nostra camera gratuitamente a due letti grandi 1,8 metri. Una famiglia di tre persone ha dormito molto comodamente. Anche l'arredamento della stanza era molto caldo e pulito. Dopo aver scalato il Monte Huangshan, ci siamo sdraiati sulla terrazza per riposare. Lo consiglierò ai miei amici quando tornerò. Quando l'auto è arrivata alla porta, i bambini hanno detto che questo era l'albergo più bello che avessero visto lungo la strada e si sono sentiti molto felici!
