Lo stesso hotel, tre anni dopo l'epidemia, è stato soggiornato per la seconda volta, ma il nome è cambiato e il servizio è stato migliorato.Nella zona centrale di San José, vicino all'Università di San José.La colazione è buona.

This hotel had terrible reviews earlier in the year but my visit was very nice. Yes, it's next to the highway but that is ”white noise” to me. Conveniently located near SJC as well as the VTS light rail. The pool looked very nice and was heated. I will stay here again

La stanza 1517 era molto pulita e confortevole. La manutenzione casa fa un buon lavoro. I controlli di temperatura sono molto facili da cambiare e c'era un frigorifero, un caffè e una bottiglia d'acqua complimentare. Mi piace usare l'app Marriott per ottenere la chiave della mia stanza sul mio telefono e passare il desktop frontale. L'hotel è a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria leggera del Centro di Convenzione VTA che potevo usare per viaggiare all'aeroporto di San Jose e da e verso l'aeroporto di San Jose, ma una delle questioni che ho notato è che la sicurezza in camera non è stata bollita al gabinetto. Chiunque può letteralmente solo prendere e portarlo fuori dalla stanza (che basicamente sconfigge l'obiettivo della sicurezza).

Overnight stay in between flights from Ohio to Kauai. Nice 2 story hotel with an awesome hot buffet breakfast. Would stay here again if we pass through San Jose. Friendly staff, fair price. This hotel was built in the '60s as a Howard Johnson. A nice renovation changed it into a Marriott Fairfield Inn. Excellent shuttle service to & from SJC airport. We also appreciated that there were a handful of restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance for dinner, For sound reasons, choose 2nd floor if you can do stairs.

Il servizio a Secco era di prima vista. Horacio ha fatto la migliore assoluta Bloody Mary che abbia mai avuto a una proprietà Hilton (e lo faccio sempre). This property has so much potential; the ”bones” are exceptional. When walking into the lobby, it felt like walking into one of the Ritz Carlton properties from the 1990s: beautiful chandeliers, classic wallpaper, crystal sconces, thick carpets, the works. The daily breakfast was also quite good (scrambled eggs along with the typical continental components). I echo what an earlier reviewer said about the in-room coffee pods: clearly the best I have ever had in a hotel room. The room was also elegantly furnished with the same marble/crystal chandeliers/classic wallpaper. I think the same designer from Ritz Carlton also designed the bathrooms with a separate W/C, double sink marble vanity and more marble on the floors. Lots of easy parking also made the stay easy. That said, I noticed a few flaws and am hoping that this isn't a trend. First, the pillows/sheets had an ”old” odor to them. It's hard to describe, but those who are picky about beds will get what I mean. The bedding needs to be upgraded; pillows, sheets & mattress pads would do the trick. Also, we did not receive daily maid service. I would have liked for those awesome coffee pods to be replenished and the garbage cans emptied. For the rate, I would have assumed these things would have been attended to. If they upgrade their pillows/linens, I'll definitely return. If not, I likely won't since I can't get past the odor in the beds.

I would like to start by saying that I very seldom write reviews on properties. However, I’ve found that in my ten years of traveling for business, it is very helpful for others like me. I booked a stay for 12 nights at this location. Mainly due to proximity to the airport, downtown, and my new job. I’ve been traveling for work to and from the Bay Area, San Jose, for the last four years. It has become increasingly difficult to find a stay within a reasonable price range that is also clean and safe, without you having to “sell your soul” (leases, background checks, etc). When you own multiple properties you try to prevent having to lease anything else unless you’re okay the location full-time, all year. With that being said, I fly in once a month for work. My flight arrived around midnight, I was given a room that is located on the back of the building. All of the buildings are outside, it’s a long walk from the front lobby (main entrance). The main entrance locks after hours and you have to ring a bell for entrance. I was given a map, and with my three suitcases on a luggage cart, I’m waking outside at 12:30 am trying to find my room. It’s pitch black, no one in site, very creepy, and I can’t find the room. Also, the almost every sidewalk nearby has a climb instead of a rollaway for the cart so I just take the “extra long” route just to get my luggage in. I called the front desk to tell them I was lost, couldn’t find the room, and the nice lady offers to send security to help me. I declined bc by the time he arrived, I would have been standing in the dark for ten minutes. Upon entry into the room…their was a horrible odor. Most hotels with carpet, it’s just a given that it’s cleaned frequently or it wreaks of sn old musty odor. So, that’s what I got. A pissy, strong, odor it almost smelled as if a pet was in the room. And, then the odor was overpowered with carpet freshener. My eyes started to tear up from my allergens. I requested another room the next day. Same thing. Both rooms were on the first floor. This next room es actually inside of a building but it smelled worse. I came to terms with this being my reality for 12 nights. I drive to the nearest store, purchased cleaning supplies, swept the floor, mopped, wiped all of the dusty furniture down with Lysol products. Opened the windows to allow air in hopes of eliminating the odor. I finally showered and tried to get some rest before my Night Shift. I could not sleep. I slept two hours. The building is super noisy. You could hear the doors opening, closing in the rooms next to mine, shower running, etc. The couch and furniture was dirty, anything with cloth smelled bad. The doors, walls, has smudge and grime on them. Closet shelves and racks were full of dust. Mood and dust were in the bathroom vents in the ceiling. Anything this filthy just makes my sinuses act up and u can’t breathe the same air. I am extremely disappointed I paid $1700 for a 12- night stay here. Hilton has to do better! Th

While we had a confirmed reservation for a room at the Hampton, they were booked up, however, helped us move across the street to the Holiday Inn. It was midnight, with three young kids, and the front desk man for the Holiday Inn was proceeding to tell us there were no rooms and no options. After the front desk man from the Hampton pushed, Holiday Inn agreed to ”clean a room” so we could stay the night. They proceeded to clean a room with 1 King bed, when there were four of us and we asked for a room with two queens. An hour later, we were let in a room. The tile floor was sticky and there were only 3 shower towels (even though they all knew there were four people). Beds seemed clean and were comfortable. Airport shuttle driver was then about 12 min behind schedule but was very nice gentleman. I wouldn't care about the late shuttle (we planned extra time), except when you don't get into a room until 1am and you have to catch a 6:15am shuttle, it's annoying.

I stayed at this property last month for an out-of-town visit to the San Jose Area. I can see where the 3-star overall reviews are definitely warranted. I booked a room for handicapped access, including a shower and a room that can accommodate a wheelchair. Check-in with front desk staff (”Lira” and front office manager, Michael Zamora) was straightforward. Before we progress any further, just remember that at the reception area, as well as on the website and any paperwork associated with the hotel, there are no notices or signs that indicate that room makeup/cleaning is not available unless you ask for it or on an every other day basis. OK, so we get to the room and it's not a handicapped room.... a standard tub/shower setup and not an accessible room. Went downstairs and spoke to Michael. Long story short, he was amenable to getting me a room that I requested but no apologies of any sort. Just the minimum perfunctory service and that's all. No negatives on his personality, as I said, just the minimum service. After an hour, we were able to get into the accessible room, which was comfortable and nice. After the first day, no room service/cleaning. When I asked staff about this, they said, oh, there's a sign adjacent to the front desk on a pillar that notifies guests that there is only every other day service unless you ask for daily service. I asked to see the sign. When the front desk person pointed to the pillar, I said ”What sign?” She looked at the pillar and said, ”Well, it is missing but it was there.” I have no words. SMH. No apologies either, at this point. There was also no lounge chair in the room and when I called downstairs around 7 pm the first night to see if one could be found, The front desk person (male, unknown name) was up to my room in less than 5 minutes with a chair...Kudos to him for being so damn prompt and attentive. Much appreciated, Sir. Finally, on my last day, I was able to speak to the General Manager, Alexandra Tang, and the Operations Manager, Zaldy Cordova, both 5-star employees. I'm sure that if the entire hotel was occupied and serviced by Alexandra and Zaldy, this would be the best hotel in the area. The other staff, I could get better service from a random In-N-Out employee. Lastly, the proffered morning breakfast was very satisfactory, but if you wanted the breakfast buffet offering (eggs, bacon, potatoes), it's $25 a shot. That's kinda pricy, even for a hotel, IMO. All in all, I'm gonna hitch my Hilton Silver Status pony up to the Hilton/Hampton Inn down the road. 4-5 stars for me, every time I stayed there. I just tried HGI for a change of pace...no more, baby.
