Molto buono

Eccellente
I stayed at Macquarie 4 Star for 5 nights to attend a family wedding in March. I booked a Silver Room which was probably more than I required but the room was spacious and comfortable. The room was clean and quiet with an ice machine and vending machine just down the hall. It had a private patio on the courtyard overlooking the sunrise, a kettle for coffee or tea, a small fridge, complete with creamers and a water jug to keep your drinking water cold, an iron and ironing board and, on the second floor, complimentary laundry facilities. The location was perfect being near to the bride’s family as well as within walking distance of the Glendale Shopping Mall, just up the hill. It was also close to the Cockle Creek Train Station. Being located on Cockle Creek, there were numerous nature trails close at hand. And, as the wedding reception was at Club Macquarie, the walkway back to the hotel provided safe walking on my way back to my room. The staff was incredible, from the cleaning crew and maintenance to the excellent service I received from all of the front desk staff. One of the ladies at the front desk, Sonja, went out of her way to pick up a jacket I’d left at a restaurant and return it to the hotel, on her day off. I would definitely recommend Macquarie 4 Star and, should I return to Australia, I will definitely be returning to this hotel.
WWangClean , great location, Thai restaurant next door is amazing.
Had to close all windows in the night otherwise can be a bit noise from people open and close the side door.
Spoke to housekeeping directly to request room to be serviced while we are away during the day, back late afternoon, nothing was done. Front office staff were nice enough to tidy the room and refill the bathroom amenities.
Got to say this place is the cleanness and most friendly place I have stayed. The room a nice and spacious beautiful and clean. You can walk into your room and go WOW. You can smell the freshness. The staff was amazing seeing such a beautiful young lady working there Lilly you could not be more helpful. It was lovely to see you for our whole 3 day stay. With a smile and always asked how we was going every morning and what we was up to for that day. It was lovely to know people still care. And to come back after a day out our room was made up and all fresh again like we hadn't been there 🙃. Honestly this place is amazing from the moment you arrive reception was so easy to check in and grab our key. Beautiful waterfront straight across from this place was amazing spent the afternoons walking. And the views and sunsets were just WOW. BIG 5 FROM US we will be back. Thank you to Lilly and Tanya for making our stay fell so lovely and safe.
Excellent value for a very clean and comfortable accommodation with great Managers. Everything in the room that you need - Hair dryer, shampoos, conditioners, microwave, bar fridge, kettle, plates and cutlery. Toaster available from Reception. Have stayed a few times and will always return.
UUtente ospiteTravelling with someone who is not my partner and selected a self-contained villa online. When we arrived, there was just one double bed in the shared sleeping / living room. The photos of the villas on the TMV website has only one picture showing both beds and that has the double in one room and a single in the living area. As we were not a couple, that is what we wanted and expected. We paid $150 expecting 2 rooms. I could have paid $100 in Newcastle for a single room with 2 beds. When I called the reception, I was told there was a sofa bed and if I pulled it out it should have sheets on it. The staff came to the villa and the sofa was opened, ejecting a number of crumbs, half eaten chips and an old drink bottle covered on cobwebs. The sheets were on the sofa bed, but from when? I just slept in my clothes on top of the sheets and showered in the morning. The person who had been on reception was quite dismissive suggesting the problem was because we booked on line. ( why be on booking.com if it's not ok to book on line?). If we didn't like it, we could get a refund and go somewhere else ( at 9pm on a Saturday). But to add some balance, if there had been a separate room as in the photo on the website and the bed had been made up and not filled with what had fallen down the back of the couch, then it might not have been too bad. It was clean, quiet and good enough for a one night stay. But not for $150 a night in Newcastle.
UUtente ospiteAbbiamo caduto all'hotel Shortland per pranzo.
