Such a lovely and tranquil place to unwind. Not far from the beach and restaurants with a bust stop just outside. The owners were so lovely and helpful with delicious breakfasts each morning. Great range on the breakfast menus. The pool out back was an added bonus even with the beach close by. Definitely worth the stay!

This B&B is amazing value for money. Deb is an amazing hostess and chef. The breakfast choices were many and the servings a good size. It was great to be there more than one night to try another choice. Deborah has attention to detail with the room and its fixtures. There were even two torches! It was clean and beautifully presented. The location is amazing 100 metres to the bus and a five minute walk to Horseshoe Bay with all its amenities. We'll definitely return.

Amaxing traditional Queenslander house., Lovely accommodation, with a veranda to sit on and eat Debs delicious breakfasts! It’s really close to Selena’s wildlife place where you can meet koalas and Harry the wombat, amongst other creatures., A sort walk to horseshoe bay, which is so pretty. A few restaurants and convenience shops there. We saw koalas in the wild, whilst on a hike to the Forts.

Just spent 4 nights at this fabulous BnB in Horseshoe Bay. Set up in an old Queenslander, the property has four double rooms only. It oozes character and charm, while being clean and spacious with private ensuite and balcony. Large lounge and decks to relax on too. Hosts Deb and Larry are friendly and helpful (“Don’t worry about the bus, I’ll drop you at the ferry.”), and Deb’s hot cooked breakfasts are awesome. Did I mention they also have a pool..

Short walk to restaurants. Delicious breakfast. Very clean and relaxing. Very easy location to stay at. You can also cook your own meals in the share kitchen. Short walk from bus stop. Recommended a great masseuse nearby as well.

We visited for our wedding anniversary and had the most amazing time! Deb & Larry are great hosts with lots of local knowledge and recommendations. The location of the B&B is perfect. Extremely close to the bus stop and only a 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants. Selina’s is also close by if you want to pop in for a drink, play pool, yoga and bird feeding. The rooms at True North are clean, spacious and have everything you need. Most importantly the bed and pillows are VERY COMFORTABLE! Then of course are the breakfasts - divine! Lots of choice and very hearty to fill you up for the day. We loved relaxing with our coffee & brekki, watching the wallabies bounce past each morning. Deb and Larry go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. We will be returning!

Right on the bus route, and a short walk to Horseshoe Bay. Very spacious room and nice secluded pool and balcony. Delicious breakfast and friendly host! Wish we had more time here as the island has so much to offer! Loved seeing koalas on our hike to the Forts!

We have stayed at many BnBs- this one is excellent. Deb was terrific giving advice even before we arrived, including not to waste money on car hire (the bus is excellent, $4.80 for unlimited trips in day, same price as return and they even dropped us off in front of accommodation). Bus stop is 1 min walk. Beach is 5 mins. Only 10 min on bus to nicer beach at Alma Bay. The rooms are very nice- very comfortable bed, good and quiet air conditioning, seperate toilet, ceiling fan, plenty of hot water, nice polished floor boards and a lovely private balcony. They are a good size, plus you have access to a large lounge room and kitchen, front deck and back deck (not shared with owners). There is a lovely pool area with deck chairs, palm fringed. You have a choice of 5 or 6 cooked breakfast each morning delivered to your door between 7-9am. Includes lovely cut fruit and yoghurt. We usually had the fruit for lunch. So it is a huge saving on food costs. We brought our own snorkel gear and enjoyed the surprisingly good coral close to beach at Arthur’s Bay (you can hire nearby). We enjoyed cocktails at Bungalow Bay next door. Food at Barefoot was excellent. Forts walk is a must do (5 min on bus). That is also the stop to walk 15-20 mins to Arthurs Bay. We stayed early November and no sign of stingers. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality Deb.
