Hotel con parcheggio a Hornafjörður

Il luogo di residenza è comodo, il bagno è molto grande 

Bungalow indipendenti, posizione isolata, circondati da paesaggio selvaggio, ben arredati ed attrezzati, dotati di ogni comodità, con balcone affacciato sulla pianura circostante. Ottima la colazione con prodotti locali e genuini, che viene minuziosamente descritta dalla proprietaria, buonissimo lo Skyr. ottima esperienza, consigliato.

E' meraviglioso.

Super clean and easily accseble little guesthouse in the middle of höfn. Clean bathrooms and lovely common room. Enjoyed my stay througly! Very near every restaurant in Höfn. Beachwalkway easily found.

We stayed in the private suite at the top of the building (2bed/1bath) and it was extremely overpriced, almost north of $450 a night. The two blonde ladies who own the place (I’m assuming it was a mother daughter duo) were extremely rude to us. When we first checked in, we noticed a spiral stairway connecting our unit to the floor below. I went to check out what was on the floor below, believing at first it was also part of the our unit. The two owners proceeded to yell at me, telling me I was not allowed to be on this floor as it was only for staff, so I apologized and went back up the staircase. The staircase was not blocked off and it was not clear at all that it was a staff area, and I feel uncomfortable knowing it was just connected to our unit. Later that day, I headed downstairs to the public kitchen area to get a little bit of pepper, as the kitchen in our unit was out of pepper. As I was walking back up to our unit on the street, one of the owners ran towards me yelling that I was not allowed to be downstairs and warned me that she had already told me once, and was very rude. Once again, it was not clear that we in the top unit were not allowed to access the public kitchen area that was available to the rest of the guests. Overall, I think I should be allowed to grab some pepper if I’m paying $450 a night, and being yelled at for it is ridiculous. The owners seemed like they were constantly on edge and anxious. I would highly recommend staying at the hotel next door as it’s is much nicer and the staff is very easy going.

Long story that I will try to summarize as best as I can. We visited the guesthouse August 28th, paid a high rate as it was summer but the location was good and the space was comfortable for 4 people. I would have given this place a great review if it weren’t for what happened afterwards. The only issue we had was the sofa bed was uncomfortable. The next morning we very briefly took the mattress off the sofa bed (it was a very simple set up, just two Velcro straps attached to the base frame for easy assembly). We put it back exactly how it was shortly after. We then notice a man is outside our window looking in. My partner looked out the window and made eye contact, we found it very odd that someone was hanging around but just assumed maybe he was on the phone and didn’t realize people were in the room. A few minutes later we heard a knock on the door and it was the same man. He was very frustrated and agitated, asking us several times what our “problem” was. We said we had no problem everything was good. He then again asked rudely what our problem was and we were confused and said why do you think there is a problem? He then shows us a picture he took from outside our window INTO our room showing the mattress off the sofa bed. We were very shocked and uncomfortable that this man had taken a picture into our room, we had 3 girls inside getting ready for the day and thought this was very inappropriate. We explained to him again that there was no issue we just had to adjust the mattress and put it back exactly as it was before. We closed the door on and made a reminder to let the owner know when we got back from the trip of this negative experience. I thought they would be understanding and apologetic. I reached out to the owner upon returning home, a week after our stay. Explaining that we felt uncomfortable having a strange man hanging around outside (this was hours before check out too), taking pictures, being rude when he never explained who he was or what he was doing there. To my surprise, they were defensive and gave no apology. They are now threatening to contact *********** to charge me for damage (conveniently they are claiming this a week later, not right after our stay) when I have proof nothing was damaged. I never write bad reviews but wanted to warn others of this experience.

Ancora una tappa nel nostro tour in Islanda. Dopo una giornata piena di emozioni, arriviamo in questo bell’hotel. Ci assegnano una confortevole stanza, elegante, spaziosa. Una finestra enorme che da sul prato. Penso ideale per contemplare l’aurora boreale . Poi scendiamo a cena e veniamo coccolati con un ottimo pasto. Un po’ troppo mediocre la prima colazione.

L'appartamento è molto situato sulla porta del mare 🌊, 🔑 è sulla porta. C'è qualcosa che non va in un piano di entrata e c'è un oratore. C'è qualcosa che si può chiedere qui l'ingresso tra tre persone può essere dietro la casa. La macchina può essere parcheggiata dietro la casa. È anche un parcheggio davanti alla porta. L'appartamento è molto pulito, la stanza può ospitare sei persone e la struttura è molto calda.Nessun bagno, portalo da solo.L'appartamento passa attraverso la strada, il ristorante ha un buon gusto 🦞.

Clean, spacious, well equipt, family friendly and good customer service! 😊 Tough times are a blessing in disguise, it always reveals the true color of the people around us. We planned to stay in 2020 however Covid happened. Team was very understanding and accommodating to our predicament. It was a happy surprise to find premise exceeding our expectations too! Shoes are well organised with rack and oraginsers neatly stacked at entrance. Reception was friendly and informative. Room was clean and neat. In room wash basin was a big plus! There were 2 spacious and well equipt WCs to our section of 6-8rooms. 2 spacious dining areas, 1 large double fridge, 1 single fridge, spacious well equipt kitchen with various prep tables and 2-3+ sinks, pots/pans of various sizes, kitchen towels, utensils, cutleries, hot water dispenser, toaster, coffee percolator, sandwich press, oven, microwave, beverages and absolutely all one needs in the kitchen and more are furnished. It is also children friendly with baby chair, cot and safe play area provided. Rooms are well sectioned with family rooms assigned at the back, away from the hustle and bustle. There are also rooms in basement. There is also a washer/dryer and small drying rack at the far end, past kitchens and book cabinet with reading materials for the avid reader. We had a good comfortable night stay and hope you do too! 🙂

Per essere donato a tre stelle, perché il prezzo di più di 3000 yuan ogni notte, la finestra ha un piano che non può essere chiusa. La casa di vista del ghiaccio contiene più di 4000 yuan. Il bagno è piccolo e deve essere tolto al muro. Anche se l'aspetto dell'hotel è molto moderno, non vale il prezzo, Alcuni dettagli sono peggiori di altri hotel di questo tipo in Islanda.Se il prezzo è giusto sotto il 2000, dopo tutto, è meglio di un hotel rurale di Vogel in Islanda.La posizione geografica deve essere vicina alla principale strada.
