Ho soggiornato una notte soltanto purtroppo perchè avevo il volo la mattina presto. Avevo accompagnato mio figlio per il suo soggiorno a Londra . La proprietaria, una signora dolcissima e molto disponibile ci ha accompagnati in aereoporto dopo averci preparato una colazione completa di tutto...frutta, yogurt, marmellate fatte da lei, tè, latte, dolcetti fatti in casa, nonostante fossero le 5 del mattino. Camere e bagni pulitissimi, con tanto di piumini per il letto ( il nostro soggiorno è stato in novembre). Per la cena ci aveva consigliato un ottimo pub a pochi passi di distanza dove ci siamo trovati anche qui pienamente soddisfatti. Cos'altro aggiungere, lo consiglio al 100%!

Ho trascorso 3 giorni splendidi, un bellissimo B&B con dei padroni di casa gentilissimi. Sono molto soddisfatta di averci soggiornato. Ottimo servizio generale, compreso il trasporto presso l'aeroporto di Gatwick. Ritornerò sicuramente !!

What a wonderful little place close to Gatwick’s Airport, and about 30 minutes away from London Bridge’s station. Carmel, and Clive are wonderful, kind, and warm people. I could have not asked for better.

We always use Cumberland House if we travel from Gatwick, it’s the only thing that makes Gatwick tolerable. Would recommend you book but finding spaces is not easy.Dont leave it. To chNce book wellin advance.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Cumberland, the night before and following our week stay in Jordan. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and beds are so comfortable. The breakfast fare is tasty and plentiful. Carmen is an excellent host, and interested in her guests travels, as most stay and leave their cars at the b&b. The Cumberland is a 10 minute safe walk into Horley, which has plenty of eateries. The taxi service to the airport was prompt both there and back. We were recommended this place by a friend, and would not hesitate to stay again if flying from Gatwick Airport.

Cumberland House is very well located for access to Gatwick or to explore the area. We received a friendly and good service with all the necessary Covid 19 precautions in place. Carmel and Clive are approachable and helpful.

We have stopped with Carmel and Clive on many occasions now and have got to know them as friends. Always a good nights sleep in a nice, clean, warm room and a great fry up in the morning. See you latter in the year.............

As I stated earlier in this review I don't think there is much that can be done to improve on the super service this guest house provides. Having stayed there at least once a year for the last 5 years I can only state once again how satisfied I am.

I was met at check in by a most amiable hostess, who got me set up in my room in no time. The room was bright and cheery, the bed big and quite comfortable. After spending weeks in Geneva in airbnbs with either no or an open shower shield, it was a pleasure to have a full, wraparound shower enclosure. The full English breakfast was accompanied by refills of orange juice and good, filtered coffee. And although friends took me back to the airport, it would have been equally possible to accept the host's offer of a ride. I'll definitely stay here whenever I return to Horley.
