Clean. Old fashioned motel, renovated. Parking next to door. Microwave, refrig. Glass cups. Window opens. Friendly family operation. Quiet, off main street, no one upstairs or either side. Good recommendation for breakfast in town. One consideration if you’re sensitive to strong laundry fragrance: bedding is strongly scented. Overall, a very nice motel.

Our room was freshly renovated. It’s a super clean, super quiet, old school motor inn, with car parked in front of unit. We had a simple Queen room with a few nice touches- ceramic coffee mugs and hair dryer in the washroom, couple of comfy chairs outside each unit. Flower beds and fresh paint, in a quiet neighbourhood. Didn’t love pillows.

The best hotel in Hope BC. We travel through Hope twice a year and have tried every hotel only to be disappointed by mice and rats and filthy BUT not with the Skagit Motel. It was super clean with no critters. Every thing worked except for the phone but nobody uses them nowadays anyway. The area was clean and quiet.

this place is old, lots of rooms, furniture old, carpet dirty, did not sleep, beds not comfy, no chain on door, dead bolt with outside access by key not the same as room key, coffee in room was good, no hooks in bathroom for clothes, quiet location

Was with parents they have stayed there before.We needed a pet friendly room as soon as my dad opened the door you could smell pet urine it was so disgusting we opened the windows but didn't help could still smell it. Pet friendly shouldn't smell!!

Great stay on a cold rainy night. Lovely modern and clean rooms. Very quiet. Off the beaten path so plan ahead. Well appointed too . Very pleasant staff. We are happy to discover this motel as we pass through often. And we would recommend to others.

The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I was very happy with my stay. The only reason I rated 4/5 instead of five is because the sheets had a stain when I arrived, though they fixed the problem quickly. Overall excellent room for the price

We stayed one night, and would certainly recommend the Skagit. It's well maintained older clean and quiet, and the layout and location is easy to find. No movie channels on the Shaw box but the internet was AWESOME !

We stay at this lovely little motel every time we are in Hope, BC. Clean, comfortable little rooms and so quiet. The owners are friendly and helpful and keep not the just inside clean but the outside as well. Walkable around the town and great carvings throughout Hope.
