Hawaiian Princess 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath end unit penthouse. There is no better ocean/beach view on the westside of the island than from the lanai of this 16th floor condo. This condo sits right on the beach. 850 square feet inside the condo, and 400 square feet of lanai space, for a total of 1,250 sq feet. Watch turtles, dolphins and in the winter, whales from your private lanai. Open up the windows and let the tropical breeze and the sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep on our super comfy gel foam bed. Prepare meals in our kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, and enjoy watching sunsets while dining on the lanai. If you are looking for somewhere that you will want to return to year after year, this is it.NOTE: This part of the island is a mixture of socio-economic backgrounds. We have multimillion dollar homes mixed with lower income housing and unfortunately, some homeless camps. There are camps on the west side because of the great weather, but there are homeless all over the island, especially in the big city. The average price of a home is well over a million dollars here. That prices a lot of people out of paradise. We are a gated and secure building. Most people leave their lanai doors open 24/7 to let the breeze come in and to hear the sights and sounds of the ocean. An island jewel on the North Shore of Oahu, this cottage is situated right on the water in a quiet, serene, and peaceful setting. Surrounded by palms and gentle trade winds, the cottage is located in a gated, old-style Hawaiian setting, offering all of the amenities you’ve come to expect plus more, including a tennis court, pickleball court, basketball hoop, and an outdoor pool. Our cottage also includes a washer and dryer (soap provided) and an outdoor shower. There is 1 free parking spot available that is reserved for you when you book. Maximum occupancy for this unit is 4 people. This is a rule from the HOA and they are extremely strict and will turn you away if there are more than 4 guests. Numerous activities await you just minutes away, including surfing, snorkeling, horseback riding, polo, beach strolling, pickleball, tennis, basketball, swimming pool and hiking, among others. And for those more adventurous souls, there's even sky diving available within minutes. But remember to be safe and always check with lifeguards before entering the ocean, as there are large waves and strong currents during the October-to-May North Shore surf season. When in doubt, don't go out!The cottage is surrounded by majestic mountains to the south, and unobstructed, 180 degree views of the ocean to the north, where you can often see Humpback whales breaching in the distance. And world famous Ka'ena Point, with its resident colony of endangered Hawaiian Monk seals and migratory birds, is only a short distance away.
