Relax in this recently renovated, sophisticated condo at the Hawaiian Monarch building.
The space
Located at the beginning of Waikiki, this unit offers ac, a free parking, smart tv, wifi and cable. The Hawaiian Monarch is a secured building that includes a spacious sun deck with grilling area, pool, and hot tub. It is steps away from Waikiki’s shopping, restaurants, nightlife and activities. It is also a short walk to Fort DeRussy Beach Park, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Ala Wai Canal and more.
This remodeled, modern studio offers city and canal views and sleeps 3. This unit is located on the 18th floor.
This home includes a hot plate, microwave, coffee pot, mini-fridge/freezer, dishes, cups, cutlery and basic cookware.
LIVING/SLEEPING AREA
This unit includes a queen size bed (sleeps 2 guests), sofa bed (sleep 1 guest and it is best suited for one person, particularly a child , teenager, or shorter adult), smart tv, and ac.
BED/BATH
This unit includes a queen size bed (sleeps 2 guests), sofa bed (sleep 1 guest and it is best suited for one person, particularly a child , teenager, or shorter adult), and full bath with standing shower.
Parking
I offer a free parking to guests who stay at this studio.
The parking is located in a parking garage and it is around 8 minutes walk from this studio.
OUTDOOR AREAS
This home does not have a private outdoor area.
BUILDING AMENITIES
The Hawaiian Monarch building offers upgraded amenities such as a giant sundeck, pool and hot tub ( no fee). There was no resort fee for this studio.
Paid fitness center (one-time nominal fee $5.00), paid luggage storage (one-time nominal fee), paid laundry (nominal fee). The building lobby levels also have a locally-owned coffee shop, car rental, King’s (bar), convenience store and restaurant (Burger & Sushi). Building has 24/7 security, elevators and attached, secured garage.
Gym located on Lower Level (LL) and Security sets up your pass on Lower level, $5.00 US for your entire stay, 6th floor salt water pool/Jacuzzi, BBQ deck area, located on 5th Floor (cards only)Laundry room(no cash), Rent a Car on Lobby level as well as Coffee/Bakery, Golden Pond convenience store, and Cream Pot (one of my favorites for breakfast/brunch!) to experience.
-The Building is 24/7 security controlled in all areas for your peace of mind.
-Luggage can be securely held by Security Office (Flat rate $5/luggage) til checkin or late checkout can hold before departure.
Large laundry (credit card/no cash) feature is located on 5th floor, Pool deck, BBQ, Hot-tub on 6th floor.
-All Building amenities except for front desk. No front desk checkin. Self check and a grab key in lockbox.
-Lobby level; hawaiismartcarrentals .
-Bus stops near by rental car in building as mentioned before.
-Flexible with our interaction with our guests, and always available if anyone needs me with backup.

This Hawaiian Monarch property is located at 444 Niu St. Pull into the first driveway on Niu St with the red curb to be dropped off and/or grab keys from the lockboxes before parking. Please note this property does come with parking. The parking garage is about 8 minutes walk from this studio. Also accessible by uber, lyft or cab from airport.
Other things to note.
This unit is not part of the hotel pool. This property is independently owned and managed and does not offer/include daily cleanings or linen services. This property does not include daily service, and requests may be pushed to the next business day.
Professional CDC-compliant cleanings are completed before and after your stay.

Michelle was very quick in responding to any questions and queries. The property is quite close to Waikiki beach and Ala Mona shopping centre. It is very handy to walk around the area and within all shops and restaurants! It is a very cosy room and being so high up, you have that extra security! We used the pool and spa, both very clean! Really just had an awesome time again! Thanking you again Michelle 😊

Horrible check-in experience.
This is a converted hotel room, not a "studio apartment" as there is no kitchen sink or cooking range. If you make your own meals (there is a hotplate & microwave), you will be washing up in the bathroom sink. Yuck. Note: this is apparently the "normal" case in Hawaii.
On the plus side, the room has plenty of beach accessories (chairs, umbrella, towels, etc). Bonus: it is across the street from a large food-truck lot, and the most excellent Waikiki Brewing Company is only a block away.
WARNING: DON'T EAT AT THE BREAKFAST RESTAURANT IN THE BUILDING! Unless you care to drop US$55 each for a (single) cup coffee and an omelette...

We really enjoyed our time at Cozy Studio! The parking space was about an 8 minute walk which was really convenient. There is also a food truck area right door that has good food. Michelle responds fast and was very helpful.

My family and I recently stayed at this cozy studio in Hawaii for 8 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, with easy access to shopping and dining options just a short walk away. This made it incredibly convenient to enjoy delicious meals at nearby restaurants and soak in the vibrant Hawaiian atmosphere. The studio itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette had all the essentials for preparing simple meals. Communication with the owner Michelle was excellent throughout our stay.
Overall, I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable stay in Hawaii.

Great location
The place was in a great location just outside of the main busy Waikiki area. Check in and out was easy. We liked using the lockbox as our flights were late at night and early in the morning. We appreciated having a free parking spot just a short walk from the property. We would recommend staying at this place.

This one bedroom one bath is perfect for a couple traveling on a budget, allows you to easily walk all around Waikīkī. Would recommend if you’re traveling alone or with a partner.
