Vista 👌 Ho prenotato 8 giorni ma ne ho rimasti solo 5, i giorni rimanenti non sono stati rimborsati a causa della loro politica, il che è comprensibile. 2 bagni, letti comodi, acqua calda disponibile, servizi igienici puliti, nessun rumore, aria condizionata perfettamente funzionante, ascensori funzionanti. Nel complesso tutto è perfetto e l'unico inconveniente è il piccolo armadietto che non ci stava tutta la valigia, ma non è stato un grosso problema. Il personale è super cordiale e ben educato, consiglio vivamente questo motel a chi cerca comfort e igiene a un prezzo eccellente. Hong Kong è stata un'esperienza fantastica!

I recently stayed at YHA Jockey Club Mt. Davis Youth Hostel, and it was an experience worth sharing! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle while still being within reach of all the action, this is the place to be. What I Loved: ✅ Breathtaking Views: The hostel is perched on Mt. Davis, offering panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, especially at sunrise and sunset—absolutely stunning! ✅ Affordable & Great Value: Compared to most accommodations in Hong Kong, this hostel offers great value for money, making it a budget-friendly option for travellers. ✅ Tranquil Atmosphere: Unlike hotels in the city centre, this place is surrounded by nature, perfect for those who want a relaxing stay. ✅ Friendly Staff: The hostel staff were welcoming and helpful, providing useful tips on getting around. ✅ Outdoor Common Area: There’s a nice outdoor area where you can sit back, enjoy the fresh air, and take in the views. A Few Things to Note: 🔹 Location & Transport: Since the hostel is located on a hill, getting there requires taking a shuttle bus (provided by the hostel) or a taxi. If you prefer a more adventurous route, a scenic hike up Mt. Davis is an option, of course please do it during the day time. 🔹 Basic Amenities: This is a youth hostel, so don’t expect luxury. The rooms are simple but clean, with basic beds and shared facilities. Bring your own toiletries for added comfort. 🔹 Limited Dining Options: There isn’t a restaurant on-site, so it’s best to bring your own food or plan to eat before heading up. The common kitchen is available for light meal prep. 🔹 WIFI coverage & Speed, the signal in room is very pool, I started a 10 mins YouTube video at night and cannot reach to the end after sun rise. Overall Experience: If you're an adventurer, a backpacker, or someone looking for a quiet escape with fantastic views, I highly recommend this hostel. It may not be for those seeking high-end comforts, but for nature lovers and budget-conscious travellers, it’s a hidden gem on Hong Kong Island! 🌿🏙️ Would I stay here again? Yes! Just be prepared for the location challenge, but once you get there, the views are totally worth it.

Friendly staff. The hostel is close to water sports centre and bike rental. A great location for sports. The kitchen is clean and Big, unexpectedly with two wise cookers which was also good surprise.  The rooftop offers a wonderful mountain and sea view.

L'igiene nella stanza può essere, è relativamente piccola, il Qingzhen è così, il capo è molto buono!Il bagno è separato, l'igiene è molto buona!!!!È relativamente pulito!

We had an enjoyable stay. Great location for hiking and sightseeing, very peaceful setting, lovely views of Lantau Peak and close to the Big Buddha, the chairlift and good bus connections to all over Lantau Island. The buildings have seen better days, as you expect at a youth hostel, but the showers are hot and effective, the kitchen and BBQ facilities are good and the bed is comfortable. The manager is very personable and friendly and it was nice to meet his family. There are few shops to buy ordinary supplies in Ngong Ping, except a very basic 7/11, so you need to stock up before arriving or be prepared to eat at the expensive tourist outlets in the 'village' or at Po Lin monastery. Tourist facilities shut down by 5-6pm.
