Hotel location is good and close to MTR station . Hotel room is tidy and clean . However , the TV set is relatively too small . Hotel room capacity is just for one or at most two persons.

Rooms are tiny so please book with caution. You get a glimpse of how the locals are squeezed in their tiny flats. A water dispenser is provided in the room.

The Silka Far East Hotel is in an excellent location. There is a bus stop in front of the building and the subway station is a 7 minute walk. There are several banks all nearby as well as an assortment of restaurants. There is also a department store, bakery and other stores including a 711.
The rooms are clean, small and comfortable. There is a wonderful park behind the hotel that is worth a visit for it's charm and relaxation.

We spent just one night in the hotel because we had problem with our flight. If you want to stay “close” to the airport the location is OK otherwise no. We found our room dirty. We found dark hair on the pillow, on the sheet, and in the bathroom. We asked to change the bed linen. They changed it. Breakfast is poor i do not recommend it. Staff is OK.

The location of the hotel is superb. Many restaurants, market and shopping within walking distance. There is also an airport direct bus to the hotel which is so convenient.
Rooms are tiny, soundproof wasn't great. I could hear other guests turning on the tap, closing doors, talking and sound from the TV in their rooms.
Overall, I will come back to this hotel as a solo traveler but not as a family. The room is just too small.

You know, Nov is not peak season, and they still charge the room as expensive as almost HKD500 for one night. The room is super small, so-called double bed is combined with two small beds. Do not expect there is working desk, and do not expect is room is silent as the air conditioning quality is super messy and you cannot sleep there. Lighting, very poor. Very old hotel and you will feel the hotel is not willing to invest even one dollar to improve the decoration. I booked one night but I really cannot tolerate anymore, stay for several hours and check out. Swear won't book this hotel again.
