The guesthouse is located in Tsim Sha Tsui, opposite the Hong Kong Science Musuem, which is a very convenient location. The only reason you would choose to stay is the low cost. It costs about 300 HKD for a single room, while other hotels in Hong Kong cost about 2000 HKD in October 2023. With this low budget, one cannot have much expectation about the guesthouse faciliities. Some other reviews say the building is old (true) : it is a unit within a old residential building. The lift, corridor and toilet are old (true): but useable. The toilet was old and dirty : it was cleaned before checking in, so I did not worried too much. The mattress was wet and the bed cover was dirty (true) : I stayed only one night. The air condition was not cool enough : During my stay, it worked ok . It was Autumn so I did not really need air conditioning. The TV worked and I could watch the local channels: this was good, better than I read from the reviews. The bedsheets are watched and dried in the corridor (true): I did not care about it. There was no reception. It could be problematic if you do not have phone, internet connection for whatsapp/weixin to connect the staff. It was not a problem for me. The biggest issue was the main door : it could function at all, and could not be opened from outside nor inside. It could pose a big risk in case of fire. At least, I felt safer than in ChungKing Mansion. Just low budget guesthouse, good for value. If you have more budget, you would probably stay somewhere else.

The hotel is not that easy to find and the bathroom is really unclean. Bring your own slippers to wear in the bathroom. The air con in my room was not strong which made it hard to sleep in the heat, and the room in general smelled extremely damp and unclean. The building felt slightly unsafe and I only felt reassured as a solo female because I knew two other friends staying in the same hotel.

The place was ok for a short stay on transit to **************. The receptionist was very helpful and resolved koat of the difficulties faced. How ever, the room was very small and a bit difficult to navigate around.
