Mong King Guesthouse

Overall I recommend this guesthouse for budget travellers in HK. PROS: ✅Perfect Location - access to bus stops and Mongkok MRT. Walking distance to ladies market, sneakers street, Jollibee Mongkok ✅Ease access - pagpasok ng building entrance elevator agad. even though 21st flr sya, may 3 elevators servicing upper levels mga 6lang na flr so expect sobrang bilis lang Walang kaagaw. D ka tatamarin akyat baba ✅CLEAN - Malinis walang amoy, walang surot, daily cleaning ✅Peaceful. Walang main*** at wala kmi nakasabay sa everytime pasok sa hall ng guesthouse ✅Fast wifi access ✅Though last day nmin nameet si madam, mukha tlaga syang mabait madali kausap. Download lang and connecg through WeChat. Bilis nya mag reply waley hassle - maliit lang room which is normal sa HK. Triple kinuha namin para yung isang bed la***an ng gamit. Sakto lang din kasi yung smaller bed mejo matigas. Yung isa sakto lang we had comfy sleep CONS: ⛔Disposable lang na towels pero sanayan na lang din ⛔Maliit ang lababo mejo mahirap mghilamos ng dka nababasa pero keribels. Baon nalang tuwalya if may space ⛔Wala masyado light sa mirror area sa may pintuan so d mo sure if ok na ba ichura mo😅 dala ka nalang ringlight

You get what you paid for. It's a small room since it's a hostel. What is important is it's clean and you sleep comfortably and quiet. The staff speaks good English, helpful and very friendly. They clean the room everyday and collect trash. The elevator is fast goin to 21st floor and less crowded. Good for solo travelers and shorter stay. Will definitely stay again.

We had a smooth check in and out. Bathroom was clean and staff is friendly. Though I’m a little bit disappointed as I can’t charge my device while we’re away as the room only have one key card to keep the electricity on our room. Hope they could add a common area with microwave and water dispenser as well. Sometimes there’s a sewage smell in the bathroom when it’s left close for an entire day, I think adding a bathroom diffuser/perfume could lessen the odor.

The price of this hotel is quite fair in HongKong. The amenities are good. It only takes me less than five minutes to MTR station.

The location is great near Mong kok station and near circle k but I don't like air conditioner because it has dirty water from it to drop and dirty on the bed if the owner fit it I think it good for you.

very nice , the owner is very approachable and friendly.the room is very clean and tidy. very safe place to stay.best for tourists to stay. very near for everything.night market,mtr and malls. .

We appreciate we had an early check in. Our trash was changed everyday. 🥰 The cr was super small but it’s okay it’s super clean anyway. The receptionist was so kind and accommodating. Chec out was hassle free. Will surely book again.

The owner, Janis, was an absolute gem - warm, friendly, and spoke fluent English, which made communication a breeze. While the room was small (as is typical in Hong Kong), it was surprisingly comfortable and provided me with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. One of the best things about the guesthouse is its fantastic location - just a short walk from the Mong Kok MTR station (Exit E1) and only three minutes away from the A21 airport bus stop. And let's not forget about the abundance of restaurants in the area - you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to finding a delicious meal. All in all, I had a wonderful time at the Mong King Guesthouse and would definitely consider coming back in the summer. Huge thanks to Janis for making my stay so enjoyable - wishing you all the best!
